As the night descended upon the city like a veil, the silver half-moon hung in the sky and dimly shone as a source of light in compliment with the dim streetlights that flickered at intervals. The night was slightly cold and the soft breeze that blew left the sky with thin clouds, leaving the atmosphere a bit whimsical.
In an alley around the back of a pub. The street lights had been vandalized, and only the soft purrs of cats as they dug in the garbage along with soft giggles and whispers could be heard. The place reeked of alcohol, cigarettes, drugs, vomit and piss. The dark brick walls of the buildings were cold and dry, and the floor were littered with dirts. " Erhh!" A goog could be seen struggling to walk up ahead in the back alley as he fell and rose all alone. No one seemed to care about him at the moment as everyone had a thing or two they were busy doing. A couple kissed in the darker corner, while some were involved in a more intimate position, smoking and indulging in a variety of vulgarity.Creak! The rusty back door of the pub was pushed open gently in a small squeak and two figures suddenly rushed out the back door of the pub after looking around cautiously. One of the two men held the other's left arm over his shoulder as he supported the other person who pressed their right arm to the wall to walk along the alley. His eyes glowed golden in the darkness, but luckily enough, none caught sight of this as those around were too engaged in their lusty acts. They were either too drunk, or not themselves at the moment to care about his glowing eyes." Erik, you think it's safe to leave now?" The one being held said through pained grunts, obviously not in the best condition. He seemed to look down at his abdomen which he held a hand to for a moment." I think so. We can't stay too long around here or we risk being found. Paulo has been a good friend to us, we can't risk causing him trouble as well!" Erik, whose thin high-cheekboned face was slightly highlighted by the slight illumination of the night, said with alertness in his tone as he helped his brother through the alley. He looked around cautiously and slowed down the pace at which he moved when he saw the painful expression on his brother's face. The worry in his face softened a bit seeing his brother's condition. With the way they moved along the alley, they seemed like two friends helping each other after having had too much to drink. They tried as much as they could to act ordinary and not catch the attention of those around them." Just a little more and we will be out in the woods, Jake" Erik said whilst looking adown to encourage Jake. The latter nodded his head, and maintained a headstrong stance after. Jaie retrieved his right arm from the wall seeing the drunk old man staggering in front of them and straightened his back a little as he mustered the strength to match Erik's pace.Erik seeing this resumed looking around cautiously right after. He had to, after all, his life and Jake's was practically in danger.Just as the duo were about to walk past the staggering goog, the drunk old man who had at this point found enough strength to stand suddenly lost his balance and fell unto the side of Jake." Argghh!!" Jake howled out in pain and Erik rushed to push the goog aside. "Bastard! Can't you see-" Jake grabbed Erik by his collar and warned through gritted teeth before the latter would lash out at the goog" Don't!" A golden ring shone around his pupil sharply and his canine that had grown even sharper became visible to Erik. He pressed a palm to his chest as he held back the urge to wince as the pain from his injury pierced through to his nerve.Erik was shook and just stared silently at Jake. He clenched his jaw tight to maintain silence and ignored the goog who was now struggling to get up. " We need to evacuate this place as fast as we can remember? And we can't leave traces!" Jake said while looking behind them to indicate that there were people watching. He released his grip on Erik and took the while to regain his bearing. He tried to move on his own, but his effort seemed futile as he staggered, almost falling. Erik quickly stepped in and caught Jake before he would fall." Thank you!" Jake thanked Erik in a hoarse shaky voice that was full of pain and shot an appreciative gaze at Erik with his palm still pressed to his wound.Erik nodded in his head with a resolute expression worn on his face. Without saying anything further, he and Jake continued to move with him helping Jake walk once again. They both continued on their way out of the alley and headed toward the woods.Since the streets were quite scanty in the night, they were able to make it through into the woods while avoiding the sight of passers-by.The woods were even darker as the tall trees covered the dim illumination that the half-moon provided. Several creepy sounds and howls resonated through the darkness, indicating that danger lurked around for those who ventured too deep. However, despite all of this, Jake and Erik continued with relief on their faces as danger, to them, was in the city. The pace at which they walked slowed down considerably as they felt safer in the woods. They believed that the hunter wouldn't dare to follow after them into these parts of the woods. After all, this was their forte." Now that we've reached a safe spot, I think we should rest" Jake who had been bearing with the pain from his wounds all along said in a convincing tone. He stopped on his walk and looked towards Erik to confirm the latter's opinion.' He must be truly tired from the wounds he's suffered. He's been pushing himself all along.' Erik understanding what he implied didn't say anything as he directed them towards a big tree with a small clearing underneath. However, just as he was about to urge Jake to take a sit, a beam of light flashed from afar in the deep dark woods and the two catching glance of this became alerted instantly.' Hunter!' As though they had the same thought, they both shared a glance with a short expression of shock on their identical faces before frowning as they hurriedly looked around in thought of where to hide. Realizing that the light came from behind them and was drawing near the more they stood around, they both shared an expression of fear and bewilderment before they hurried their pace and delved deeper into the woods.' Dammit, I couldn't help but jinx it!' Jake cursed in his mind. He forgot about the pain from his wounds as he pushed himself to run with Erik's support. They both knew the crazy hunter had followed them and was in pursuit. One thing remained in both brother's mind, " Run!"Erik and Jake had both experienced the cruelty of the hunter. He'd killed their friends back in the city earlier, and they had only been able to escape due to the numbers. Jake got injured as a result of this as he was shot by the same hunter. They thought that was all and had thanked their fat
Jake's eyes shook seeing Erik run away. He could hear the sound of twigs snapping behind him and he tried to follow after Erik out of fear. His tough act of facing death in place of Erik instantly broke when he realized that he was really going to die! Jake's instincts kicked in as he geared every ounce of strength he had to run! His heart beat louder and louder as he looked behind him and saw that the flash of light was only a few steps from finding him." Hu! Hu! Hu!" Jake panted like crazy as he held his stomach that bled like crazy, his eyes bulged and his lips quivered in trepidation. He threw his hands madly in a frenzy dash as he sped into the woods. " Ah!" However, he hit his leg on a thick branch and fell, unable to maintain his balance try as much as he could. Jake landed face first in a thick bush and gritted his teeth hard in pain as he'd reopened his wounds. He looked to his side and saw his clothes stained with his blood that has a strand of dark green substance mixed
The silver crescent moon hid and peeked from behind the dark clouds. Darkness descended on the back-end town of Braedon, as a whole settlement fell into ruin.Cabins were in tarnish and several bodies laid in carcasses on the floor as houses burnt. Covered in blood and wounds, several humans with canine features stared with terror on their faces as they watched what they considered their home and settlement for the past decades undergo destruction. The Stingfang pack settlement situated in the suburbs of Braedon, had been attacked by the Moonblood pack; and the alpha had failed to protect them from the carnage that befell them. The ghastly corpses that littered the ground were mostly men who died trying to protect the honor of both themselves and their mates. In the end, it was all futile. The women were laid down bare naked and toyed with by the perpetrators while being captured along with the children and the few men who surrendered. They all cried and wailed either in dread or wi
Harrod was beaten to the point that he could barely raise an arm. What was he, the Alpha of the Stingfang pack to do?With dislocated joints and broken bones, he knew he couldn't help, even though he wanted really badly to stand up and fight to the death for his mate at the moment. His veins bulged and he clenched his teeth hard, as he tried with all he had to stand, but he just could not. Harrod could only watch weakly as Jason held his mate by her hair to his crotch." I'm running short on my patience now!" ' Screw it!' Panic became evident in the Stingfang pack Alpha's gaze as the unlikely seemed more likely by the passing minute. His mate was at the verge of being defiled right before him! He couldn't help but start to pray for a miracle as all hope seemed lost. However, such thought was futile and illogical, considering he never believed in any miracle all his life. Nevertheless, he was running out of time!' That's right, Death!' In the midst of his conflicting fray, a though
Jason rose from the sofa, pushing away Georgia who seemed like she couldn't get enough of his manhood, and even tried to continue sucking on it even as Jason stood. She followed on her knees behind him- he didn't say to stop sucking yet after all. Jason tucked his member back in his pants and zipped up the zipper as he strode to stand in front of Harrod who lay on the floor staring lifelessly at his broken wife acting so disgraceful and slutty towards the person he hates the most- Jason! Harrod was devastated. His chest still tightened and hurt so much from the betrayal. However, he was so beaten up and shocked that he was numb to the pain. Only the streak of tears that fell down his face showed how hurt he was. " Are you mad?" Jason crouched and asked in a hush as he pulled on Harrod's red-brown hair. The latter looked up to Jason with his lackluster gaze still filled with fury. " Rather, shouldn't you be mad at her?" Jason pointed towards Georgia who was now trying to cl
The cold wind that blasted past my face had me gasping hardly to catch my breath as I fled away from the world of horror behind me. Despite the tightness in my lungs, I never stopped my hind and fore limbs from lunging forward in a swift dash towards the unknown, as I knew this was all the chance I had.'Anything, anything at all!...' I was beyond desperate to escape. The pain from all that I had gone through in the hands of my cruel mate hit even harder now than when I had suffered it. My sight became blurry and I could feel slight wetness at the corners of my eyes but I couldn't care any less at the moment. All I wanted now was to get away from it all and erase everything from my memory. The ghastly bruises and cuts that slashed deep through my furs were nothing to make me stop even though it hurts. I knew that, soon enough, the whole pack will be after me. I had no destination, nor did I know where I was headed as I ran through the dark woods full of mist that spread far ahead unde
"Hah! Hah! Hah!" I panted uncontrollably as I ran on all fours with everything I had. The rustling sounds of the dried-up leaves and the snapping of the twigs, as well as the growls I could hear all around indicated just how close they were to me now. For the past thirty minutes or so, I had done nothing else but run, and run, or otherwise bear the risk of suffering a fate even worse than I had experienced in the past. I knew I wasn't going to get death even if I wanted it. Jason would never relent until he's exacted his revenge for what I'd done. And I feared that'd be the last of me. I was already on the brink of going insane from the previous tortures. The sound of my heart beating right in my ears wasn't anywhere close enough to the feeling of dread that enshrouded my being. I could feel my furs standing on end cautiously and brushing against the cold wind. The feeling of a hundred ants crawling on my skin was nothing but a subconscious reaction of my body to fear and pressure that
Kyley's POVI fluttered my eyes open unconsciously to meet the sight of a strange room. For a while, I was thoughtless and felt no memory of who I was. Not until my conscience kicked in. I opened my eyes a little wider subconsciously as I remembered the last thing I saw before I... 'What!?... I, didn't die?' I was surprised as I was certain that I had seen the monster killing everyone of the pack who were there in the woods, mercilessly. The memory of the horrid iron smell of blood made my nose sting. Nonetheless, It seemed I have survived. But...'Just how. And... where am I?' I couldn't help but take a look around the room which had quite the traditional setting. I could tell from the wooden structure of the room that I wasn't anywhere in the cities that Sam had showed me before. The buildings were a lot more sophisticated and had much more intricate interior design from what I knew. This place, however, seemed a lot more like...'Oh no!!..' The thought of having been taken back to
