Larissa and Stanley got married based on Stanley's grandfather's conditions, and Stanley wanted to satisfy his grandfather, but after the marriage, Larissa didn't get Stanley's attention, Stanley believed that he didn't touch Larissa till she walked away from the marriage, but later came back with triplet,
View MoreStanley Carter and Larissa Brent's marriage had been on the rocks for a long time, ever since Stanley began seeing Barbara Daniels, a woman he claimed to be his soulmate and love of his life, Larissa had tried to salvage their marriage, but Stanley's coldness towards her made it clear that it was beyond repair,
One night, after a particularly long and exhausting day at work, Larissa had retired to their bedroom to get some rest, only to be met with Stanley's anger,
"What the hell are you still doing in my bedroom?" Stanley spat out upon entering the room. "I can't stand the sight of you, Larissa, I have told you time without numbers, I don't love you, and I can never love you, because my heart belongs to someone else, and you know this before we got married, so, you need to get out of my life." Stanley explained furiously,
Larissa was startled by Stanley's outburst, but she had anticipated it, she had seen the signs of his infidelity for a while and had even suspected that he was seeing someone else,
"I understand, Stanley," Larissa said calmly, trying to hide the pain in her voice. "I'll move to the guestroom." Larissa said,
"Good," Stanley responded, his voice cold and detached. "I don't want to see you anywhere close to me. You know what I mean."
Larissa nodded, her eyes brimming with tears. She gathered her things and silently left the room, making her way to the guestroom where she spent a lonely night trying to come to terms with the cold reality of her failed marriage,
The next day, when Larissa returned home from work, she found that Stanley had packed his bags and left without any clue of where he was going,
Larissa sat down on the couch, the note crumpled up in her hand. She felt numb, as if the entire world had collapsed around her. She knew that Stanley was never going to come back to her, and that realization was painful.
She sat there for hours, lost in her thoughts, trying to make sense of what had happened. She eventually decided that it was time to move on from Stanley and start a new chapter in her life.
months later. Larissa had started seeing a therapist and had gradually started to heal from the pain of her failed marriage. She had even registered for a three years nursing program, although the thought of her failed marriage was still fresh in her memory,
Six months had passed since Stanley Carter left his wife Larissa with a broken heart. After his sudden departure, Larissa had done everything in her power to save their marriage, She had written him countless letters, called him multiple times, and even consulted several marriage counselors, hoping to salvage what was left of their relationship.
But when Stanley returned home, it quickly became apparent that nothing had changed. He was still the same cold, distant man who had left her six months ago. Larissa tried to put on a brave face and pretended that everything was fine, but she could feel the growing hostility and contempt that Stanley held towards her.
One day, when they were having breakfast together, Larissa tried to make conversation. "How was your trip, Stanley?" she asked.
"It was fine," Stanley replied curtly, his eyes barely meeting hers furiously,
After a few moments of awkward silence, Larissa tried again. "I've missed you so much. I'm so glad you're home." Larissa said,
"I'm sure you are," Stanley said sarcastically. "But you know, Larissa, nothing's really changed. I still can't stand being around you." Stanley said,
Larissa felt the sting of his words, and a single tear rolled down her cheek. "I know things have been tough between us, but please, can't we try to make things work?"
Stanley shook his head. "There's no point in trying. We're just too different. I'm in a completely different league than you, and I don't want us to be together anymore." Stanley said,
Larissa could feel her heart breaking into a million pieces. She had hoped that Stanley's time away would have given him a chance to reflect on their relationship and realize how much he loved her. But it seemed like all that time had only made him hate her even more.
As the days went by, Stanley's behavior became more and more erratic. He had taken over the position of CEO at his grandfather's pharmaceutical company and had become an entirely different person.
He was rude and condescending towards his employees, and he made it clear that he had no respect for anyone who wasn't at his level.
Larissa tried to avoid entangling with Stanley at all costs, but his constant belittling and insults started to wear her down. "Why are you doing this, Stanley?" she asked one day. "Why are you so angry all the time?" Larissa asked,
"Angry? I'm not angry. I'm just sick and tired of dealing with people like you who think they deserve everything without even lifting a finger," he replied coldly.
Larissa felt a wave of despair all over her. She had lost the man she loved, and now she didn't even recognize the person he had become,
Days turned into weeks, and Larissa realized that nothing she did could change Stanley's mind. He was determined to distance himself from her and everyone he deemed inferior.
days later, when he was in the middle of a heated argument with one of his employees, Larissa had enough. She stormed into his office and confronted him.
"Stop treating everyone like they're beneath you!" she yelled. "You used to be a kind and loving person, but now you're just a cruel and heartless monster." Larissa said,
Stanley looked at her coldly, his eyes flashing with anger. "Maybe you're right, Larissa. Maybe I have changed. But it's your fault. You held me back, and now I'm finally free of you."
Larissa felt a sharp pain in her chest as Stanley's words sunk in, She had lost him forever. He had become a stranger, and she didn't recognize the person Stanley had become.
As she walked out of his office, Larissa realized that her marriage to Stanley was over. She had fought as hard as she could, but her efforts are not enough to save her marriage,
She returned home frustrated, and when she was returning home, tears streaming down from her eyes until she entered Into the bedroom,
Larissa stood in front of the podium, her voice projecting through the microphone as she continued her program of peace, unity, and health talk She had already visited numerous schools, spreading her message of love and understanding, before finally arriving at her children's school for her much anticipated lecture, As Larissa began her speech, parents filled the chairs, eagerly awaiting her words of wisdom. Stanley, Larissa's ex husband, was among them. He couldn't help but feel a sense of surprise and admiration at how respected and expected she had become as a public figure. Despite their differences, he acknowledged Larissa's dedication and the positive impact she was making.Sitting beside Stanley was his personal assistant, and his son, Bernard had convinced Stanley to stay and listen to the lecture, assuring him that it would be an eye opening experience. Stanley reluctantly agreed, deciding to wait and see what Larissa had to say.The lecture was filled with powerful m

“Hi,” I purred seductively as I walked over to my bed and sat down.“Hi,” he replied with a small smile. He made no moves to come towards me; I think he was trying not to rush me. I patted the bed beside me and he eagerly trotted over and sat down.“Thanks for checking my room,” I whispered, playing with the neck of his t-shirt, tracing my finger along the skin there.“Anytime. I’m just sorry I won’t be here for you tonight. Try not to have too many nightmares, OK?” He looked at me with sad eyes; we both knew that I would have nightmares without him here.I got onto my knees and moved to him, throwing my leg over his so I was sitting on his lap, straddling him. I wrapped my arms around his neck and looked into his beautiful blue eyes. He looked a little taken aback but his eyes danced with excitement.“I’m sorry that Claire’s staying over. I’m actually really going to miss you half crushing me to death in the night,” I teased. I said it as a joke but to be honest I really was goin
I could feel my nerves bubbling up. “Er…. well I…. er…. Oh! Freddie borrowed it when he stayed here, so it must smell like him,” I lied, stumbling over my word She buried her head in the pillow. “Mmm, I’m sleeping with this one tonight,” she stated, holding the pillow tight.I choked on my laughter. “Whatever, Claire. Let’s go eat I’m starved.” I pushed myself up off of the bed and walked towards the door so we could get the food ordered.“I got this!” she chirped, waving a DVD in front of my face. Even the cover scared the heck out of me. I rolled my eyes and stalked out of the room plopping down onto the sofa next to Freddie. He put his hand down onto the sofa next to mine and discreetly rubbed his little finger across mine when no one was looking.“Have you ordered the food, Richard?” I asked, shifting sideways on the seat so that my knee touched Freddie’s thigh. I saw a smile play at the corner of his mouth.“Yep, done. It’ll be here in ten,” Richard said, shifting up the oth
“Well, I don’t know why you’re looking so cocky about it; you’re not going to sleep too brilliantly either.” I grinned, sticking my tongue out at him.“Hmm, is that an invitation?” he asked, raising an eyebrow. I instantly realised what he was talking about, he was asking if I wanted to kiss him again because I showed him my tongue. I sure as heck did.“Sure,” I purred, looking at him seductively, knowing that he couldn’t reach me over the table so he would have to wait until after we left the restaurant. He immediately jumped out of his chair and bent down next to me, taking my face in his hands and kissing me, not seeming to care where we were or if people were watching. I took the initiative this time and traced my tongue along his bottom lip, he opened quickly and I slipped my tongue in. He moaned into my mouth, pulling me closer to him. The kiss was so good that it was making me slightly dizzy. He didn’t once try to touch me other than holding my face, which I was surprise
He just laughed and started driving. “How about Chinese? You like that, right?” he asked, glancing at me from the corner of his eye.“Yeah, I love Chinese food!” I chirped happily, grinning like I’d won the lottery. Richard hated Chinese food so we hardly ever had it; Freddie smiled and drove us to the restaurant on the high street. We were now sitting, eating our food. We had been chatting happily for nearly an hour and I was again surprised by how easy it was to talk to him. I’d known him for twelve years and I’d never really just spoken to him properly about stuff. His leg brushed mine under the table and made me jump, not because of my fear, but because it sent a little jolt through my system, making the hairs on the back of my neck prick up and my pulse quicken.I decided now was the time to sort it out, there was only one other couple in the restaurant so we could talk freely, but I just didn’t know how to begin. “Freddie, I think we need to talk about something,” I said qui
