Chapter Four

JOURNEY TO JINGLE LAND

The next day Robert Mallow woke up early and went to the castle to worship the Gods of Bingle. He prayed for strength for his journey to Jingle.

After his prayer, he went out of the castle and was shocked to see his monkey and parrot waiting for him.

He rushed to the secret room where weapons, maps, and secret documents were hidden. He took

some weapons and put them on his horses and donkey and he began his journey.

When he reached the state border he said, "Our father, who is in heaven, Hallow be thy name, we set our eyes on you!"

Robert Mallow's first day in the jungle was so terrible. The jungle was a huge and dark place and always wet because of the intense rainfall of equatorial rainfall.

At night strange noises and heavy roars were heard. Sometimes, he heard birds chirping and sometimes silence reigned.

Robert Mallow was very tired so he sat beside a tree to rest. He dropped his weapon and kept his horse and donkeyint a safe place.

His sleep lasted for about twenty minutes. After a little nap, he was shocked at hearing heavy

thunderstorms and it began to rain.

He was startled by the thick gloom spread into the jungle as a result of the heavy rain. The situation gave him anxiety and he began to panic.

He called his monkey but there was no response. He held his weapon and disappeared on the other side of the forest.

Suddenly, he was startled by a loud voice that he couldn't understand from where it comes from and heard a sound repeated over and over due to the echoes.

Robert Mallow was so scared and stay Galant while finding where the voice was coming from. As he was searching behind him he saw a very big lion roaring constantly and loudly, the lion sighted him and they both faced each other.

Immediately, the fighting began. Robert Mallow held the lion's head and began to punch it. He was shaking his head and Mallow fell during the fighting a little away from the Lion.

The line moved closer to him with high speed to hit him. Unfortunately, Robert Mallow rolled a little bit on the ground and the lion fell beside him.

He quickly stood up and attacked the lion with a big stick in his hand. Robert Mallow sat down and began to breathe synonymously.

After some minutes, he stood up and hoped to continue with his journey. Suddenly, the lion stood and began roaring.

Robert Mallow turned his face to the lion and they continued fighting. The lion jumped to attack him from a little bit of distance.

Robert Mallow also jumped and both met themselves in the air. Robert Mallow held the lion's mouth and they both fell. Robert Mallow brought out his sword and cut the lion's head then he continued his journey.

Robert Mallow spent seven months in the jungle and is now getting closer to Jingle. One blessed night, Robert Mallow put his load beside him and fell asleep.

While he was sleeping he started dreaming. He saw his father in his dream asking him to look at the top of the tree. Suddenly a tree fell beside him.

He woke up and looked at the top of the tree near him but found nothing. He kept looking but still couldn't find anything.

So, he called his monkey and asked him to climb the tree. The monkey climbed the tree and suddenly, a small piece of paper fell. He picked it up and started reading it.

That paper was a document by Hamburg, the first senator of Bingle land. The document stated,

"A child will be born in Bingle and he will be the saviour of the World. Be will be given the name

LEGEND OF THE JUNGLE. A time is coming where a powerful man from Jingle will enslave all the people of Bingle.

But only one warrior in Bingle land can save them. Only at this time,e the war between Bingle and Jingle will end. The reader of this paper should note that the last kilometre is risky and full of wild animals."

Robert Mallow raised his head. He mounted his horse and continued on his journey. While on his journey, they did not face any dangerous animals are the document stated.

This confused Robert. He got down from his horse to take a nap. While resting, he heard a voice shouting for help nearby.

He later found out that the voice he heard was of a beautiful girl struggling and breathing

simultaneously. He moved closer to her and asked her what the matter was.

The lady couldn't speak anything except that an anaconda was chasing her. Robert Mallow broke

down into laughter and asked if she was running because of a snake? Which she replied in the affirmative.

He continued laughing until he saw the snake having eight heads. Robert took a step backwards and took out his sword. He moved closer to the snake and started fighting with it.

The lady stood at a corner and worried how a single person could kill such a snake. A snake that couldn't be killed by a thousand warriors.

Robert Mallow cut the eight heads of the snake and brought it to the lady which made her happy.

Robert embraced the lady.

Now, both Robert and his female companion continued their journey to the state. On getting to Jingle, Robert Mallow and the lady started asking each other questions.

Robert asked, "What's your name?"

She answered, "I am Jan Wilson, the daughter of Jan Jay."

'What's your mission in this place?" he asked.

"I have been in the bush for the past two days hunting but I couldn't find any animal. Although I felt bad and I continued my hunt," she replied.

"Why did you come alone to the forest?" Robert asked.

" came here with warriors, but they've all left," she replied.

When the conversation ended Robert stopped walking with her and asked her to continue on her journey.

Jan Wilson was annoyed by his statement and she moved closer to him and sat beside him.

"Pease, what's your name?" she asked.

"My name is Robert and I am from a state near here. I have been in this jungle for more than six months. I came to the jungle to hunt. But unfortunately, I got lost," he answered.

Jan Wilson thanked him and asked him to follow her but Robert Mallow refused. Jan Wilson insisted

but he held his ground that he was not going.

With tears in her eyes, Jan Wilson got on her horse and continued her journey to Jingle state. She looked back and called his name but he didn't reply.

A few moments later, she got out of the jungle. Jan Jay was surprised to see a crowd waiting for her at Jingle's border to the jungle.

Jan Jay was excited to see her father and narrated everything that happened in the jungle to her.

On hearing the story, Jan Jay ordered his warrior to go and search for the brave boy. The warriors   went to the bush to search for him and it took them some days to find Robert.

They met him sitting beside a tree, eating with his monkey. When Robert Mallow noticed that a group of soldiers was heading towards his direction he took out his sword.

On sighting him a warrior shouted, "We've seen him.

All the warriors encircled him but their leader advanced and asked all warriors to drop down their sword.

Then he said, "Robert, we come in peace. We've heard a lot about you from Jan Wilson. Kindly follow us."

Robert Mallow followed them and they all went to Jan Jay's palace.

Robert Mallow was now living in Jan Jay's palace with Jan Wilson. He watched over Jan Jay and

controlled the slaves in the state. Jan Wilson fell in love with Robert Mallow and started hanging out

around him.
