Chapter Two

(Back to Robert Mallow in the jungle)

Robert Mallow could not find any animal to kill. He was confused and didn't know what to do. He sat down beside a tree to take a rest. 

While resting, a parrot came to him, saying, "Bingle Jingle jungle. There is fire on the mountain."

Robert Mallow got angry and took out the gun. He shot the bird and saw it fell beside the tree. When

More confusion ensued. He looked around to search for the bird. But suddenly, he found it on the top of a tree singing, "Bingles Jingle jungle. There is fire on the mountain." 

When Robert Mallow heard this again, he quickly got up and started going home. On his way home, he met a small monkey crying in the bush. 

He carried the monkey and continued with his journey back home. Night falls, and darkness leaves the skies. It was morning already. 

After a few hours, he got back home. He didn't recognize their state again. Some houses were burnt and others were destroyed. 

He found dead bodies everywhere Robert Mallow started shouting for Sir Mallow. He quickly rushed to the castle and when he got there he dropped his head and started weeping. 

"Sorrow everywhere, crisis everywhere. Dead bodies everywhere. O Bingles, where are you?"

Tears dropped from his face. Robert quickly went to the top of the castle to search for his father.

When he got there he found his father on the ground, in a pool of blood.

He moved closer to him with tears on his face and started rubbing his body. At this point, he found out that his father was still alive. 

He shouted, "Sir Mallow, the senator of Bingles. Lord of the supernatural being. Now Sir Mallow,

stand up."

Sir Mallow replied, "My dear son, arise and shine. You must lift the banner of the land. You are the last hope of Bingle. Promise me to bring the rest back." 

Robert Mallow promised to bring them back. Sir Mallow bowed down for his son, and he held his leg.

They both started weeping.

Sir Mallow concluded by saying, "You must lift the banner of the land."
