Maya

I put Axel in his crib and turned on the baby monitor before leaving his room and closing the door. I walked towards the kitchen stretching my arms, I was wearing sweaty socks and sweatpants, combined with a sweatshirt that left part of my belly uncovered.

I went into the kitchen and opened the fridge, looking for something to cook. I had a sore body.

That day I decided to start my shift early and I was in the middle of the chaos of the emergency room. I spent the whole day running from one side of the ER to the other, and now my muscles were aching.

I took some vegetables and placed it on the sink when the intercom of the apartment rang, I jumped for the surprise.
