I sighed and turned off the computer as I got up from the chair behind my desk. Another day he was gone and I could finally go home to my children. I closed the door of my office and went towards the exit.

"Hi, Sandra, I’ll see you on Monday," I said to the secretary on my way to the elevator.

Sandra was a little over 20 years old and she was still in college, we hired her to do an internship and I had to admit that she was really good and I hoped that after university she would stay and work for us, we needed her help.

I went into the elevator and picked up the phone to send a message to my beautiful husband, hoping that he too had disconnected from work and had taken the children from their grandparents.
