Alpha Mick grunted in acknowledgement, patting Luka’s shoulder “Go to bed son.”

As Luka trudged wearily up the stairs, Alpha Mick took his place at the doorway. His eyes swept over the scene before him - his daughter lying still on the bed, flanked by the two young men on their cots. Despite his misgivings, he couldn't deny the visible improvement in Lilly's condition.

The night wore on, silent except for the soft breathing of the sleeping trio. Alpha Mick remained vigilant, his mind racing with questions and concerns about what this all meant for his daughter and the pack.

As dawn began to break, casting a soft glow through the windows, Lilly stirred for the first time since her collapse. Her eyelids fluttered, and a small sigh escaped her lips. The sound, though faint, was enough to rouse Kenny and Axel from their light slumber.
