CHAPTER 2: MARK

In a dimly lit room, shadowy and silent___ except for the ragged breathing of a masked figure resting on the cold evening wall.

The figure seemed young... not older than 19.

His hands roamed his body as his half-closed eyes turned misty, and sweat dampened his forehead.

His white shirt, which had turned wet from sweat, outlined his lean and perfect physique.

He grinded his back against the wall as he moaned softly.

He was restless... uncomfortable in a way he couldn't control.

He hadn't expected this.

Little Swan had recently joined the mafia world after graduating from university.

He had gone on a mission with his father under his fake beta identity. But things didn't go well.

He experienced premature heat... at the worst possible time.

Little Swan felt miserable. Not only from the heat but also from what would become of him if the truth were found out.

An omega son in the mafia world was like a sheep to be slaughtered. Especially with his unparalleled look and his status as SSS+ omega.

No matter how strong his father was, war would erupt, and he would be snatched away.

His life would be miserable, and no one would be able to help him.

Little Swan's suffering shadow painted the room with loneliness and desolation.

He tried his best to suppress his moans while his pheromone leaked madly in the air.

The floral scent was like a dark seduction that could turn any alpha crazy... No matter how powerful they were.

That was the power of an SSS+ omega.

The door creaked open, startling Little Swan, who swiftly pressed his back against the wall as if trying to disappear into it.

His body trembled as the tobacco scent pheromone wafted into his nose... It was an alpha and a really powerful one at that.

Little Swan's eyes showed fierce anger and a slight hint of a provoked predator.

He watched as the alpha walked to the center of the room while looking around.

The young alpha paused, scanning the room. His dark eyes glinted with alertness.

He looked young, a cigarette resting between his fingers. He smoked with an air of maturity that only belonged to children raised in the underground world.

Little Swan knew the young alpha well.

It was Cassian.

The son of his father's most hated rival... The lord of the Southern underground country.

"Come out," Cassian said coldly. "I can smell you."

Little Swan's eyes flashed.

Cassian's tobacco pheromone seemed to drive Little Swan to the verge of madness.

Without thinking, Little Swan brought out his gun and cocked it.

The sound broke the silence in the room, and Cassian also looked his way.

Seeing the masked Little Swan, Cassian's face darkened, and his eyes turned cold, but his body trembled.

"Who are you?" He asked under his breath while searching for a gun in his pocket.

Little Swan staggered forward and released his pheromone insanely in the air.

Cassian's breath caught.

His face turned red, and his pheromone also involuntarily leaked.

The two pheromones synced, eliciting a moan from the two.

"Mark me." Little Swan slowly ordered.

He was standing right in front of Cassian with his gun pressed against Cassian's temple.

Cassian's brows twitched. "You think I won't kill you first?" He threatened.

Little Swan chuckled darkly. "Mark me... temporarily."

A Mark was the only thing that could save him at the moment, and what better option than an alpha that willingly stepped into the room?

He couldn't stay any longer in this room, or his bodyguards might step in to look for him...

Little Swan would rather die than let people know his secrets.

Cassian had to mark him. It was just a mark anyway.

He pressed the gun harder against Cassian's head, and Cassian's lips trembled. His eyes flashed with hostility as he clenched his fist. "Fine!"

Little Swan kept the gun pressed against Cassian's head as he opened his shirt, revealing his slim and perfectly structured waist.

At the right side of his lower waist was a grey stripe, which Little Swan roughly pulled off, revealing a round pink area with a natural flower tattoo.

His fingers tightened around the gun.

"Mark."

His voice shook___ just once.

Cassian glared at him. The anger in his eyes deepened, but he still bent and sank his teeth into the gland.

His pheromone poured in, instantly soothing Little Swan's restless state.

It was just a temporary marking. However, Little Swan found his cheeks reddening.

The warmth vanished.

Gunshots replaced it.

Chaos brewed.

And then___ pain.

Little Swan watched as the older version of Cassian shot him straight in the heart.

It was a shot to kill.

Little Swan's heart ached terribly.

His eyelashes fluttered as he slowly opened his eyes to the sound of the machine and the strong smell of medicine.

"Boss, you're awake." Niam, Little Swan's trusted subordinate stepped forward as he mentioned.

Little Swan nodded, but his eyes were dark and cloudy.

His hands were clenched, and even his pale lips pursed tightly.

"Cassian..." He slowly mumbled.

How could he do that to him?

"Boss, how do we punish Cassian? He went too far. We can't let him go, right?" Niam asked.

The anger in his voice was obvious.

Little Swan turned his head to look at Niam.

His lips parted, and a shallow smile appeared.

The pale face under the mask slowly turned paler. "Punish him?" He closed his eyes. "No," he murmured softly. "Cassian belongs to me."

"Prepare me a new identity, Niam." He ordered.

Little Swan successfully left the Wealth House. He walked toward the usual point, and as expected, Niam was already waiting for him there. He rushed over when he saw Little Swan. "Boss, are you okay?" He looked really worried, and even his voice had a crack in it. Little Swan didn't seem to notice, though. He took the phone Niam handed over and turned it on. He quickly downloaded all the data and codes he had sent earlier. The operation would take hours, though. Seeing the reading on the screen, he raised his eyes to see Niam still staring at him with worry in his eyes. Little Swan finally frowned. "I'm okay." The words came out stiff. Perhaps he was in a good mood. Niam stiffened. He stood upright and tried to stop the smile that showed in his eyes. Turning around, he gestured toward the car. "Come in, Boss." Even his voice was lower than usual, seemingly hiding something that shouldn't see the light of day. Little Swan expressionlessly walked toward the car and stepped in

  • Little Swan   CHAPTER 41: WAKING UP

Cassian froze. Floral scent. That was it. Floral scent wasn't a common scent, and Cassian had only perceived it twice... no, once in his life. From Stan, the slave omega at home. Why did Nico, a beta, have the scent on him?"Why?" Cassian asked out loud. The doctor raised a brow. "Why, what?" "Why did he have the floral scent on him?" Cassian didn't believe it was the beta's perfume. He had sat together with the beta during their ride to the factory earlier, and for someone like him who was extremely sensitive to the Floral scent after helping the omega through his heat, there was no way he wouldn't have perceived the scent earlier. So, something was wrong. The doctor administered the injection and stood upright. Dropping the used items on a tray, he picked up the tray and pointed to a small black bottle lying empty inside the tray. "This is CH 05. It's a powerful comforting pheromone derived from some volunteer powerful omega and alphas." He glanced at the sleeping beta i

Cassian couldn't believe his eyes, but instead of doubting his vision, he rushed deeper into the fire and approached the figure. "Nico?" He called. The figure raised their head. Their face was black, but their clear eyes weren't tainted in the least. A groan escaped his lips again as if he were replying to Cassian. Cassian quickly bent forward, lifted the man in his arms, and rushed out of the fire. Even his pants were starting to burn off at this point. Only after Cassian fully escaped the fire did he stop. He gently placed Nico on the ground and checked his body. Nico groaned again. He squinted his eyes as if trying to identify Cassian, and when he finally did, his lips parted, and a shallow smile appeared on his thin lips. "It's my alpha." He murmured and fainted. Cassian was surprised. He frowned briefly but he couldn't think too much about the word of a delirious person. He quickly reached out and grabbed Nico's waist, pulling him back to his embrace and supporting him

Cassian and the rest of his men had returned to the car, and everyone was prepared to leave. Cassian stood beside the car, his fingers playing with the half-smoked tobacco in his hand as he stared at his feet. Ryan walked over. "Why isn't he coming over yet? Was he caught?" Cassian raised his eyes lazily. "He's probably trying to leave without getting the people suspicious." He released a puff of smoke from his mouth. He trusted Nico. Not only because the man had worked for the President Association but also because of what he felt from the man. Nico's abilities were on par with his, and he seemed to be extremely sensitive to danger. If someone like that could be caught by a factory like this... Cassian felt like something must have really gone wrong then. It was impossible. He brought out his phone and dialed Nico's line again. But surprisingly, it was switched off. Cassian finally frowned. He tapped on the pod on his ear, trying to connect, but it seemed he had been totall

Little Swan came out of the bathroom and returned to the experimental room. He saw Janice injecting an omega who kept whimpering in pain. She raised her head when she heard the door opening. "You're back." Little Swan nodded, forcing himself to look away from the scene. Janice dropped the syringe and approached Little Swan. "What's your decision, Doctor Frank? Or would you like to see other rooms?" Little Swan looked toward the withering omegas again. "Are there better omegas around here at all? Ones that hadn't been experimented on." Janice thought for a while before she shook her head. "No. But if Doctor Frank needs one, we can exchange for one from the President's Association. It's no big deal." Little Swan's stomach lurched at that. He nodded. "There's no need to see other rooms then. Take me to the higher-ups. I don't have much time to spend here." Janice showed a surprised and excited expression as she nodded enthusiastically. "I know. I know. Doctor Frank has a lot of e

  • Little Swan   CHAPTER 37: DECISION

Little Swan listened to the lady, and his mood became even more frosty. His eyes behind the glasses darkened. 'It seems I'll have to tell Cassian to kill that doctor later.' The doctor couldn't be released. He was a scum of society, and allowing him to return to Italy would be a calamity for many omegas. Even if Cassian later decided to spare his life, Little Swan had made up his mind to kill him, and there was no way for him to escape. He sighed, suppressing the immense anger in his heart as he returned his attention to the omegas on the ground. Each of them seemed to have been injected with some drugs. Their skin was cracking, and their eyes were red. Little Swan had a lot of questions to ask, but being someone with no medical knowledge, he was scared of exposing himself. "The omegas are all weak." His tone was a little irritated. Janice nodded. "They are all at least three hundred years-old omegas. They've birthed all their children, and they've become weak and use
