In Cassian's car.

The car was dimly lit with a quiet and tense atmosphere.

The beautiful omega hugged himself as his silver hair cascaded down, covering his facial features.

His lips curved slightly.

He glanced at Cassian, who was tapping his lap and excitement shone in the beauty's eyes.

Cassian paused. He lowered his eyes to look at the omega.

The omega shivered.

He quickly sat upright and raised his beautiful eyes to look at Cassian.

Their eyes met.

The omega's eyes wavered. From the look in Cassian's eyes, he could already predict what was about to happen.

His heart skipped a beat.

He had already gone too far to turn back.

How could he let Cassian send him away at this point?

He, Little Swan, wouldn't lose. No, he would never lose.

Tears appeared in his eyes as he blinked. "Mr Cassian," He softly called.

His flawless face turned red as tears rolled down his face. "Don't leave me, please." His lips trembled.

"Don't abandon me..." He cried.

Cassian's brows creased.

His lips parted, but Little Swan quickly stood up and knelt on the car's seat. "Mr Cassian, please. I don't want to fall into the arms of those greedy alphas."

"I don't want to get caught by my stepfather again. Please, help me." He bowed down, almost hitting his head on Cassian's shoulder.

His addictive floral scent permeated the air, making the car seem both dangerous and misty.

Cassian's body trembled inexplicably.

Little Swan raised his head when his face was only a few inches away from Cassian's.

His long eyelashes fanned his face, and his soft lips pursed slightly. "Will you help me?" His voice was a whisper.

Cassian swallowed.

Irritation flashed across his eyes, followed by curiosity and an emotion Little Swan knew too well... Protection.

"Your stepfather?" Cassian asked.

Little Swan nodded. His eyes turned extremely pitiful as his shoulders slumped. "Yes. My stepfather has always coveted my beauty ever since I was 18."

"My mother used to protect me, but after her death, my stepfather let loose..." He trailed off as his face paled.

His body fell forward, and his face was only a few inches away from Cassian's neck.

He secretly sniffed.

His sea-blue eyes turned a dangerous and dark shade.

But he quickly hid it as he raised his head, peeking at the long flawless neck that belonged to his alpha.

"He tried to get his way with me several times. He locked me up and tortured me several times."

He choked on his tears. "I don't want to go back to him. I don't want to return to that house."

"I might never be able to escape again if that happened."

He sat up and hugged his knees as he sobbed.

Cassian’s gaze sharpened.

"And you expect me to believe that?"

Little Swan flinched___ just enough.

"You don’t have to… but it’s the truth."

Cassian's gaze lingered on the beauty. His lips pressed into a thin line.

He gestured to the man at the driver's seat, Ryan. "Investigate it." He whispered.

The man immediately nodded.

The car went silent again. Only the low sobbing of Little Swan could be heard.

Cassian kept staring. His fingers twitched, but no word came out of his lips.

Thirty minutes passed, and Ryan handed his phone over to Cassian, who briefly glanced at the content.

His eyes darkened. He clenched his fist and let out a low curse.

"It's true." He mumbled.

"What should we do about him?" Ryan asked.

Cassian sighed. "We..." He paused as his mind went back to 'Little Swan's' earlier taunt.

Cassian's lips curled. He would never lose the beautiful omega to Little Swan.

What he had would never be taken away by Little Swan. It was impossible.

"Let's go home." He ordered.

The beauty's body trembled.

Cassian patted his back. "It's okay. Let's go home." He softly said.

Little Swan's gaze sharpened secretly.

Ryan drove them home.

Cassian carried Little Swan out of the car and took him into an already prepared room.

"Take a bath and come out for dinner when you're done." He said, planning to leave the beauty in the room.

Little Swan's brows creased.

He grabbed Cassian's hand, not letting go. "Don't go, please." He whispered.

The fear in his eyes was palpable.

Cassian frowned.

Little Swan stood up, and tears swiftly formed in his eyes.

"Can you stay, please?" He bit his lower lip.

Every action was lethal.

"I'm scared."

Cassian exhaled.

He closed his eyes and forcefully nodded his head.

"Okay." He agreed.

He led Little Swan toward the bathroom.

Turning around, Cassian stiffened when he saw the omega in only shorts behind him.

His eyes settled on the pale and flawless body. His eyes flickered with dangerous light.

Little Swan hugged his waist and stepped under the warm shower.

"I will be done in a while." He mumbled pleadingly. "Stay, okay?"

Cassian was silent.

He didn't take his eyes off the beauty.

Every movement of the beauty played in his eyes, and his pheromone leaked madly in the air.

Little Swan shuddered.

The sudden attack from the pheromone made his legs weak, and his face betrayed a hint of satisfaction.

His gaze dropped for a second___

and that was enough.

Heat surged through him. Dangerous. Familiar.

He bit his lower lip and closed his eyes.

He couldn't lose composure. No. He mustn't.

But his pheromone was no longer listening to him.

His pheromone leaked, syncing with the tobacco pheromone in the air.

Little Swan's body felt weaker, and his legs gave in.

Instinctively, he fell toward Cassian...

Cassian moved.

He grabbed Little Swan's soft and flexible waist.

His bare hands pressed lightly, steadying Little Swan into his embrace.

Cassian's jaw clenched. His eyes darkened.

The room tensed.

The pheromones in the air grew stronger, syncing as they became one.

Their eyes locked.

Neither of them moved.

Neither of them pulled away.

And in that moment___ something dangerous began.

  • Little Swan   CHAPTER 42: THE PROMISE

Little Swan successfully left the Wealth House. He walked toward the usual point, and as expected, Niam was already waiting for him there. He rushed over when he saw Little Swan. "Boss, are you okay?" He looked really worried, and even his voice had a crack in it. Little Swan didn't seem to notice, though. He took the phone Niam handed over and turned it on. He quickly downloaded all the data and codes he had sent earlier. The operation would take hours, though. Seeing the reading on the screen, he raised his eyes to see Niam still staring at him with worry in his eyes. Little Swan finally frowned. "I'm okay." The words came out stiff. Perhaps he was in a good mood. Niam stiffened. He stood upright and tried to stop the smile that showed in his eyes. Turning around, he gestured toward the car. "Come in, Boss." Even his voice was lower than usual, seemingly hiding something that shouldn't see the light of day. Little Swan expressionlessly walked toward the car and stepped in

  • Little Swan   CHAPTER 41: WAKING UP

Cassian froze. Floral scent. That was it. Floral scent wasn't a common scent, and Cassian had only perceived it twice... no, once in his life. From Stan, the slave omega at home. Why did Nico, a beta, have the scent on him?"Why?" Cassian asked out loud. The doctor raised a brow. "Why, what?" "Why did he have the floral scent on him?" Cassian didn't believe it was the beta's perfume. He had sat together with the beta during their ride to the factory earlier, and for someone like him who was extremely sensitive to the Floral scent after helping the omega through his heat, there was no way he wouldn't have perceived the scent earlier. So, something was wrong. The doctor administered the injection and stood upright. Dropping the used items on a tray, he picked up the tray and pointed to a small black bottle lying empty inside the tray. "This is CH 05. It's a powerful comforting pheromone derived from some volunteer powerful omega and alphas." He glanced at the sleeping beta i

  • Little Swan   CHAPTER 40: RESCUE

Cassian couldn't believe his eyes, but instead of doubting his vision, he rushed deeper into the fire and approached the figure. "Nico?" He called. The figure raised their head. Their face was black, but their clear eyes weren't tainted in the least. A groan escaped his lips again as if he were replying to Cassian. Cassian quickly bent forward, lifted the man in his arms, and rushed out of the fire. Even his pants were starting to burn off at this point. Only after Cassian fully escaped the fire did he stop. He gently placed Nico on the ground and checked his body. Nico groaned again. He squinted his eyes as if trying to identify Cassian, and when he finally did, his lips parted, and a shallow smile appeared on his thin lips. "It's my alpha." He murmured and fainted. Cassian was surprised. He frowned briefly but he couldn't think too much about the word of a delirious person. He quickly reached out and grabbed Nico's waist, pulling him back to his embrace and supporting him

  • Little Swan   CHAPTER 39: FIRE

Cassian and the rest of his men had returned to the car, and everyone was prepared to leave. Cassian stood beside the car, his fingers playing with the half-smoked tobacco in his hand as he stared at his feet. Ryan walked over. "Why isn't he coming over yet? Was he caught?" Cassian raised his eyes lazily. "He's probably trying to leave without getting the people suspicious." He released a puff of smoke from his mouth. He trusted Nico. Not only because the man had worked for the President Association but also because of what he felt from the man. Nico's abilities were on par with his, and he seemed to be extremely sensitive to danger. If someone like that could be caught by a factory like this... Cassian felt like something must have really gone wrong then. It was impossible. He brought out his phone and dialed Nico's line again. But surprisingly, it was switched off. Cassian finally frowned. He tapped on the pod on his ear, trying to connect, but it seemed he had been totall

  • Little Swan   CHAPTER 38: CRAZY

Little Swan came out of the bathroom and returned to the experimental room. He saw Janice injecting an omega who kept whimpering in pain. She raised her head when she heard the door opening. "You're back." Little Swan nodded, forcing himself to look away from the scene. Janice dropped the syringe and approached Little Swan. "What's your decision, Doctor Frank? Or would you like to see other rooms?" Little Swan looked toward the withering omegas again. "Are there better omegas around here at all? Ones that hadn't been experimented on." Janice thought for a while before she shook her head. "No. But if Doctor Frank needs one, we can exchange for one from the President's Association. It's no big deal." Little Swan's stomach lurched at that. He nodded. "There's no need to see other rooms then. Take me to the higher-ups. I don't have much time to spend here." Janice showed a surprised and excited expression as she nodded enthusiastically. "I know. I know. Doctor Frank has a lot of e

  • Little Swan   CHAPTER 37: DECISION

Little Swan listened to the lady, and his mood became even more frosty. His eyes behind the glasses darkened. 'It seems I'll have to tell Cassian to kill that doctor later.' The doctor couldn't be released. He was a scum of society, and allowing him to return to Italy would be a calamity for many omegas. Even if Cassian later decided to spare his life, Little Swan had made up his mind to kill him, and there was no way for him to escape. He sighed, suppressing the immense anger in his heart as he returned his attention to the omegas on the ground. Each of them seemed to have been injected with some drugs. Their skin was cracking, and their eyes were red. Little Swan had a lot of questions to ask, but being someone with no medical knowledge, he was scared of exposing himself. "The omegas are all weak." His tone was a little irritated. Janice nodded. "They are all at least three hundred years-old omegas. They've birthed all their children, and they've become weak and use
