Darkness rose over the kingdom as night fell, and everyone was ready for their night, even though they had to go to sleep with a nail in their feet. Especially in the palace.
A nail that the princess was missing. The King refused to eat anything throughout the day, and wasn't going to sleep without seeing his daughter, even after so much begging by the handmaidens and Seansha.

Odessa slammed the book shut and gave both of them a cold piercing glare. They stopped moving momentarily.“What?” Odessa had decided to end the obvious malice instead of reading nothing in pretence of concentrating.She dropped the book on her lap and glared at them for a longer time.“You took a long while to get her here Zane. Why? And I didn't hear a report from you.” Odessa knew there was no use to her question, they were already here, and that's all that mattered.“Getting into the palace wasn't easy under the watchful eyes of their sorcerer. I thought it wise to go in and get out.
