The Witness

"Defendant, Jerome Kings, do you have a defense you wish to present?" asked the judge to Jerome who had been staring at Leah with a deep and sharp gaze. Jerome cleared his throat quietly, he had been listening to Leah's testimony while occasionally smiling sarcastically. "Yes I do Your Honour," Jerome rose from his seat while in her seat, Leah stared at him with hatred filling her chest.

"I will not deny the accusation of domestic violence that I have committed that night, but only that night and not on the other time. Any husband I think would feel very angry if he found out that the wife he loved so much was having an affair with another man. That night I acted out of control because of my uncontrollable anger.
