Chapter 8: You reap what you sow!

As soon as Alley Houston catches sight of Brenda Mclean's figure, her heart aches. The previous incident at the hospital remains an unhealed wound for her. Initially, Alley Houston came here because of the threat from her parents, but as soon as she sees Brenda Mclean inside Karimba Cellon's house, she is completely consumed by jealousy and heartache. That drives her to step inside the mansion.

Janet Cellon speaks while glancing towards the gate. Following Janet Cellon's gaze, Brenda Mclean notices a familiar figure standing outside.

"Alley Houston? What is she doing here?"

Brenda Mclean glares at Alley Houston, her sharp gaze filled with a hint of hatred, much to Janet Cellon's satisfaction.

"Why is she here? Holding onto Karimba, isn't she?"

Janet Cellon casually remarks, which instantly infuriates Brenda Mclean. She remembers the humiliation she had endured from Alley Houston's slaps, and there will come a day when she will pay back the principal and interest.

"Aunt, please chase her away. I don't want to see her face. She's too repulsive!" Brenda Mclean seethes, crossing her arms and looking away.

Janet Cellon smirks, privately thinking that Brenda Mclean is still too naive. With a smug smile on her face, she signals the butler to open the gate and welcomes the guest, while speaking to her niece.

"Have you forgotten? That woman is insane. Both Markus and his son will be returning soon. We should completely cut ties with Alley Houston and the Houston family."

Janet Cellon speaks, her voice calm but her eyes filled with hatred. However, Brenda Mclean pays no attention, her slow mind only grasping the fact that Alley Houston will be despised by Karimba Cellon and the Cellon family.

Outside the grand gate, the elderly butler named Lam Moc welcomes Alley Houston with a stiff smile.

Alley Houston steps into the mansion, sensing something amiss, but she still wants to give it a try. She enters the living room, hoping to meet Karimba Cellon or Mr. Markus Cellon, but the reality is far from what she expected.

"Alley, you're here? Sit down here and have some water."

Janet Cellon greets Alley Houston with a fake smile. Alley Houston knows that this stepmother is not favored by Karimba Cellon, so she is also hostile towards her.

Even more hostile is Brenda Mclean, who sits arrogantly with crossed legs, staring at her like a mistress.

"If Karimba is not here, then I'll leave first and visit when it's convenient."

Sensing the danger from the two women in front of her, Alley Houston politely responds to Janet Cellon before quickly turning and walking towards the door. However, Brenda Mclean swiftly stands up and runs towards Alley Houston, grabbing her by the hair.

"You damn bitch! You slapped me a couple of times, humiliated me in every way possible. I haven't settled the score with you yet, where do you think you're running off to? Trying to escape?"

Brenda Mclean speaks while throwing several punches at Alley Houston. Caught off guard, Alley Houston fails to dodge and takes a few painful hits, causing stars to dance before her eyes. She feels intense pain and screams out. Seeing Alley Houston struggling and in pain, Janet Cellon smiles contentedly, then sits back leisurely to enjoy the "entertainment."

Provoked by Brenda Mclean's aggression, Alley Houston reacts instinctively, grabbing the hand that was striking at her and using her other hand to yank Brenda Mclean's long hair backwards. Brenda Mclean cries out in pain, her face contorted. Alley Houston is not one to tolerate the humiliation from others, apart from her own parents, no one has dared to physically assault her like this. Consumed by anger, Alley Houston will certainly fight back with force.

“You want to play with me, huh? Okay, that’s my cup of tea! Let’s play together!”

"Alley Houston, you insane woman, how dare you hit me? I'll curse you, curse you to be forever despised by Karimba, trampled by men, and die without closing your eyes!"

Alley Houston's eyes widen in anger and astonishment. She doesn't expect Brenda Mclean to be so venomous. Initially, Alley Houston has no grudges against her, but due to Brenda's repeated attempts to seduce Karimba Cellon and destroy Alley and his marriage in recent years, Alley can't help but retaliate.

"Brenda Mclean, you reap what you sow!"

Alley Houston grits her teeth, consumed by anger, causing her to lose control. She charges into a fight with Brenda Mclean, disregarding her cries of pain. It seems like a certain power emerges within Alley Houston's body, rendering her unable to control her mind and physical strength.

The two wrestle on the ground, while Janet Cellon screams and curses at Alley Houston. Alley Houston continues to strike Brenda, causing her face to bleed. Suddenly, she feels that everything is happening in a bizarre manner. She never intended to fight Brenda Mclean. She completely loses control of her anger. Alley Houston panics, releasing Brenda Mclean and slowly standing up.

Alley Houston knows she shouldn't engage with such a petty and despicable person like Brenda Mclean. She straightens herself, glances at Brenda's pitiful state, adjusts her hair, and quickly leaves the Cellon's house.

"You want to escape? You whore, don't even dream of it!" Janet Cellon glares at Alley Houston with hatred. She looks towards the door and then smirks satisfactorily. Her eyes gleam with cunning and animosity.

Alley Houston is startled. She has a sense that something is not right. She immediately turns around, wanting to leave this house as soon as possible. However, before Alley Houston could step out of the living room, Janet Cellon screams madly from behind:

"Oh my goodness, my poor niece! Alley Houston, you're so cruel! What did Brenda do wrong? How can she meet anyone now?"

Alley Houston turns back in astonishment to see Janet Cellon wildly tearing Brenda Mclean's clothes, leaving only scraps of fabric. Moreover, she splashes tea on Brenda and forcefully slaps her face several times, making her appearance even more pitiable.
