I felt much better as my mother's memories rushed into me through the dessert. After having dinner, I went for a walk. I called Charlie and he texted me that he is busy. His nerves…!! I got irked by his response.

This is why we say we should keep people where they belong. He is not only my first in command but also my best buddy. And often he forgets that he is my first hand in command.

Recently, he has been acting very differently. I went to the lakeside as it feels so peaceful there. My eyes naturally fell on the treehouse where only one lantern was lit. Through the curtains, I saw the same feminine figure moving here and there. To my surprise, I couldn't take my eyes off that figure.
