Chapter 21: Glory World Entertainment
(Monique’s POV)
Earlier this morning, Jasmine called to tell me that she would be coming over-delivering some important news. It would be nice to have someone to have a chat with since I’m dying of boredom here.
Catherine is, as usual, working at the university, while I don’t really have much interest right now in going out.
Speaking of Catherine, she was acting strangely after she got home late last time. She came home late even if the only schedule she had at that time was her fieldwork. I’m sure something must have happened during that time. If not, why is she acting unusually?
She looked tense and there were times that I caught her lost in a trance. This is so unlike her. I’m sure there’s something that’s bothering her, but I don’t want to annoy her just to feed up my curiosity. It’s best to wait until she speaks about it on her own accord.
