Chapter 5

James knocked at Kyle's room door. There wasn't any sound coming out of the room, then he again knocked on the door, but again there wasn't any response and this time he pushed the gate a little to open, but a voice stopped him. 

The voice, "Young master, (the voice hesitates for a while before continuing further) I helped her to get ready as you asked me to do. She is ready, but as I do so, she told me to go outside so that she can lie down in the room calmly for a while before going downstairs. She wants to rest for a bit. Let her rest for a while, young master. It's been years since I saw her back in the palace."

James sees towards Mrs. Samantha with a helpless expression and looking at that, she realizes what that means. So she smiled slightly and went near James and said, "It's okay, young master, everything is going to workout as always as when you were young just close your eyes and think what you doing is right or not and you will get your answer and I know that answer will never lie to you. Because that's the answer you soul gives you because when your heart is full of emotion and your mind says otherwise, that's when your soul gives you the most reliable answer because it neither answer you entirely based on emotion like your heart and nor it will give you the answer like a psychopathic brain everything based on philosophies and a web of lies and truth." 

Hearing that, James smiled like a little kid who got his toy again after crying and having a breaking down for a while, then he said, "Mrs. Samantha, can you hold me again in your arms as you used to do when I was a kid whenever I got up after a dreadful dream in the middle of the night?" Hearing what James said, Mrs. Samantha smiled and oped her arms to hug James. He went near her and rested his forehead on her shoulder. And she gently stroked his hairs and said in a low tone, "kid you need to be like an ocean. Clear on the surface, but the deeper someone tries to dive into, the more its darkness inside it scares them. Compose yourself and focus on what she chose you for don't let her hopes and beliefs go in vain." 

 James takes a deep breath and said in a low tone, "Will she really forgive me for all the pain and wounds I gave them?" Mrs. Samantha sees a shadow in the corridor and said, "Young master I think it's time for you to go now." And with those words, Samantha left the way for James.

James enter the room and saw Kylie clam resting face. She was sleeping like a baby. He went near her bed and built his courage to touch her forehead, but something stopped him from doing that. He just looked at her and went towards an armchair near the window and opened the curtains before sitting down on the chair. 

The room was so silent that they can hear the blowing wind clearly. James rested his head when Kylie's voice broke the silence in the room, "What are you doing here?"

James said in a serious tone, "Kylie, you know why exactly I am here. I don't wanna talk about irrelevant matters right now, so let's cut this short and I will come straight to the point. I don't know how much do you know about the marriage agreement, but today the people who are coming are coming here to fulfil that agreement."

Another voice came from the window side, "wasn't that agreement done for political reasons and to keep the friendly relationship between both the clans and It was also decided that if there would be any tension between both the clans then only this agreement will come into force then why now? Moreover, they wanted the dominant Omega and we all know......"

Kylie got up and went towards the window with a smile of relief on her face and hugged the guy tightly, "Alex, you are back. dammit dude, where were you this whole time? " Alex laughed and said sarcastically, "I guess you want me died as soon as you saw me." Kylie sees him with confused expressions and said, "Why would I want you died you, idiot?" 

Alex smiled while patting her head gently and says, "because I am sitting on the parapet (basically a barrier that is an extension of the wall at the edge of a balcony, roof or terrace.) of the balcony and if you will leave me now, I am going to fall down and die."

Hearing this, kylie giggled like a baby.
