The Next Day.

{Leilani's POV}

Something is weird, there is no crying? No gurgling? No cooeing? No funny screams? That could only mean one thing… my baby's gone.

I sprinted to her nursery room and everything was packed neatly. I checked the time, it was already 9 am.

I ran downstairs and saw Edgardo on a phone call.

“Giovanni’s missing!” I say and he laughs.

“I'll call you back.” He hangs up the phone and smiles.

“No, Mom took Giovanni with her. She didn't want to bother you.” He says and I sit down in relief. Oh Thank goodness.

“Get ready okay? We have to be somewhere.” He pinches my cheek and walked away.

Is it a surprise? I walked up the stairs and took a shower.
