Chapter 33: Setup

"Are you alone?" De Mario asked Ben.

"Yes, I am alone," Detective Ben replied slyly.

"Pull out your gun and throw it on the floor," De Mario said to him.

Ben did as he requested and then he said to De Mario immediately, "Are you here to tell who's involved in the bombing or are you going to point your gun at me all day like this?"

"Alright, here's the deal. I tell you what I know and you keep my name out of your mouth and also you tell me what you know too," De Mario traded with him.

"And why would I do that?" Ben grunted, feeling steam coming out of his ears.

"Because I am the only fucking chance to get that asshole!" De Mario let out.

Ben hesitated before replying to him, "Okay, deal."

De Mario gave him a photo of Marco. "If you get that guy, you'll get Bruno," De Mario said to Ben.

"Who's this guy?" Ben asked him, furrowing his eyebrows.

"I don't know, but it's your job to find out," De Mario said sarcastically. "I only know he works for Bruno."

"Alright cool.
