Drake's Return
Two weeks later, Aurora sat by the balcony. She stared up at the sky, thinking about Drake. She thought he would have been back by now, but she didn't know dragon customs. A knock at the door drew her attention away and she walked over. It was Bethany and Aurora ushered her in.
"I thought you would be with the other dragons."
"No. I was invited, but I refused. I am a guardian after all."
"Thank you for coming."
"I know why you called me here."
"You do?"
"You want to know how much longer he'll be."
"Yes."
"Well, the mountain where they go is different than any other. A dragon there will lose all sense of time. While it's been two weeks for us, it's only been a couple of days to them."

"Whenever it feels right."
