I woke up and looked at my surroundings. It was vast and empty. There was nothing in sight. It reminded me of the scene I was in before the dagger woke me up. I was in a desert, and there was nothing in sight.

I tried recalling everything that happened before I found myself. I tried recalling, but I was blank. Then everything came back fast. I held my head in pain as the memories rushed in quickly. It felt like I was having an intense migraine. The pain eased slowly, and my breathing relaxed.

We had killed his wife and his children. He was seeking revenge, and he got it.
