I sat behind Hope in literature class, bored to death. I was tired and restless because I didn't sleep last night. Mr. Johnson was rambling on about some ancient art book while I paid deaf ears. As I set my eyes on Hope, it reminded me of what happened last night. After I had left Solomon in the sitting room, I went to the bathroom in my room and washed my face. The vampires were offered blood in cups to drink, and when I asked Solomon where he got them from, he told me they were blood bags. Everything was going according to plan until I saw Zack walk in through the front door. I froze, not in fear but in surprise. A boy with black hair and brown eyes stepped out. I looked him in the eyes and felt courage, bravery, and honesty ooze out from him. He wasn't scared of me even in the slightest. "Only him?" I asked. Two people stepped out, and then another three came out after them. I looked into their mind and realized that they were scared. I chuckled softly and took off my jacket, handing it over to the black-haired boy. I unbuttoned my sleeves and folded them. "As I said earlier, I am generous but also ruthless," With that, and I ripped out their heart in a split second. A rude knock on the door brought me back from oblivion. I jerked up in caution and sighed when I realized it was just a knock. I sat upright on the bed and yawned loudly, too lazy to move. Then, the knock became heavier and more rude. Moved to anger, I zoomed downstairs and headed straight to the door, intending to rip off the head of the person. I opened the door, revealing a boy with shiny black hair, which went down well with a pair of black eyes. He looked enraged in his black leather. "If you do not tell me who you are in the next five seconds, I will rip off your head and feed it to the creatures of the forest," I threatened. He didn't look moved by my ghastly threat. This thrilled me, and I smiled. "I am Jackson Waters, the stand-in Alpha of the celestial pack, and I am here to get Zack which I believe you are in possession of," he introduced sternly. I woke up to find myself in rags. I looked around the empty parking lot, trying to recall what happened. Then everything came flooding back quickly. The Chanter twins discovered I was a vampire and set me on fire to kill me. Foolish of them not to know that I couldn't die. I grumbled to my car and kick-started the engine. It roared smoothly to life and shifted the gear, reversing out of the parking lot. I shifted the gear once more, stomped my foot on the gas pedal, and zoomed out of school in my black Audi. I couldn't believe they were so brave to stand up against me. They probably didn't know who I was. If they did, they wouldn't have approached me in the first place, knowing I was dangerous, and would have had their head bulldozed off before they could even utter an alphabet. I dashed forward, jumped up with super strength, and clenched her windowpane. I lifted myself with ease into her room. I stood far from the bed and watched her sleep. I could hear her breathe in and out slowly. I felt a sudden urge to touch her. I dashed to the bed and enjoyed a pleasant view of her. Through the darkness, I could see her calm face as she slept. Her head was cast to the side as she lay on her back. I felt my left hand caress her cheek softly, and it felt good. It cured the disappointment I felt for Solomon instantly. I felt at ease like I was freed after being held by a tight knot. I bent over and placed a kiss on her forehead. It was time for me to leave, I wanted to stay till daybreak, but I knew I needed to rest. Suddenly, the lights came on, and she rose swiftly from bed.
