Chapter 7

Alena groaned as she heard her alarm going off. She always liked running early in the morning, only when she was in the mood. Nothing's harder than leaving her bed sometimes. But Edmund's driver is going to pick her up at seven thirty.

She went to the bathroom, took shower, then went to her walk-in closet to get her running shorts, a black sports bra under her tank top, and put her shoes on. She looked at herself in the mirror, and tied her hair into a ponytail. She was not a super skinny person, but she has always been confident with her body.

She went down to the kitchen, and quickly ate an apple. She ran to the door before Fern had the chance to yell at her to eat. She slammed the front door, and ran to the car laughing as she heard Fern yelling. She could see Paulo, Edmund's driver looking at her with an amused face.
