Chapter 75

“I didn't know it was a painting your friend gave you, so I replaced it with one that fits the room better,” was the response I got from Ivor.

“Where is my painting?” I asked.

Ivor looked at me and said, “At the warehouse.”

After the painting was taken to be repaired, I texted Bruce to thank him for the new painting.

'You just like that picture?' Bruce texted.

‘What do you mean?’ I'm confused.

“What about the painting I gave you three days ago?” Bruce texted. ‘Do you like that one?’

I was surprised when I realized that Bruce even gave me another painting. As I was searching for Ivor to ask about the other painting, I got a call from someone I never thought she would call me. That's my mother.
