Emily did not tell Jason where she was. She asked Jason to wait for her at the nearest bus stop, and they would meet there. And all she had to do for now was get out of Alex's mansion without giving the impression of running away.

She wasn't running away, but shouldn't she wait for Alex to get home? Or at least contact Alex first and then decide to leave.
