Zayn's POV:

I sat down at the cafeteria, twirling my fork around my plate of spaghetti sauce but my eyes were fixed on her, the brown skin girl that was sitting a few feet away from me.

She had refused to look into my eyes all day, she has been acting distant.

I didn't like it.

I didn't like it at all, so I planned to do something that would get her attention.

"Jemima," I called and signaled for her to come closer. She slowly got up from her chair and stood in front of me. I tapped my thigh and smiled at her. "Sit down."

She flipped her hair back and smiled before sitting down on my thigh.

I glanced at Elsa's table and saw that she wasn't looking at us, she didn't even look a bit interested. Whatever Stephanie was saying must be getting all her attention.

I placed my hand on Jemima's waist and sighed, thinking of what else to do.

"Elsa looks different today," Jace said and I arched my eyebrows.

Different? I didn't see anything different about her.
