TWO

"Elsa, bring out the oranges I brought back last night," Mom says to me, I get up from the chair and walk to the kitchen to bring the oranges.

"These oranges look supper fresh today, Mom," I say on my way from the kitchen, I stop in front of her and drop the orange on the small table.

I flip back my brown hair and grab an orange from the bowl. I'm still thinking of what to tell her before I can go out.

Earlier in school, Stephanie insisted on me being at her house tonight, I have been there before, several times. Her parents know me, they are kind people, but her brother doesn't like me.

He can't stand me. He always tries to undermine me, to show me that I don't belong with them.

I don't want the disrespect that will come with going over to their house but there's absolutely nothing I can do, I have to fulfill my promise to my best friend.

"Mom, I have to finish up a project with Stephanie tonight," I say and she raised her eyes to look at me, she pushes her curls from her face and furrows her brows.

"Isn't it late already? You know I hate it when you go out late." She uttered calmly and I smile and squats before her.

Mom has always been protective of me and I don't blame her, when we lost my dad a few years ago my uncles and Aunts promised to take care of me but after the burial, none of them check up on me anymore, not even a 'Hi'.

My father was poor when he was alive, we had nothing to inherit, and we started from the bottom.

Damn, thinking about the past again.

"Don't worry, Mom, it's just Steph's house. Their neighborhood is a gated community, nothing is going to happen." I assure her.

She nods her head while eating the orange.

I get out of the cab and walk over to the main gate. I brought out my phone from my backpack and dialed Stephanie's number.

"Where the fuck are you, bitch. The party already started and everyone is having fun!" She screamed on the phone, I temporarily removed the phone from my ear and rolled my eyes before pressing it against my ear again.

"If you could just let me talk," I mumbled. "By the way, I'm at the main gate waiting for the door to open."

Before I could finish talking, the gate opened and I slipped through it.

I stood there for a while, watching the huge compound. The Blacks are one of the richest people in New York so it wasn't a surprise to see the kind of house they live in.

I knew every corner of the building, I knew Mr. and Mrs. Black's room, I knew Stephanie's room but not Zayn's. He was the only one who I didn't know about his room.

Zayn was notorious. At 18 he was already involved in keeping a bad gang around him, he smokes, and he fucked any girl he wants without even thinking about STDs. I mean, what if he contracted a dangerous disease during his rendezvous with the girls?

When I got to the front door, I pushed the double doors opened and were surprised at how loud the music was.

Girls were walking around the living room and the kitchen in their bikinis, unbothered about the fact that they were in someone else's house.

"Ella fúcking Jameson, I don't know what to do with you," Stephanie said as she walked up to me.

Her blond hair was tied in a cute ponytail and her lips were colored by nude lipstick, she was wearing a red bikini that aligned the shape of her fúcking pussy!

"Holy Mary mother of Jesus pray for us sinners now and forever more." I quickly whispered under my breath.

Stephanie was out of it.

"What the hell are you wearing, girl?" I asked in a hushed whisper, I glanced at her as we climbed upstairs but she didn't seem bothered about it like I was.

Stephanie has always been a bad girl. A bad girl with a sharp brain.

She led me to her room and I quickly changed into my bikini. Ever since she bought it for me I haven't worn it so I was thrown off guard when it was worse than Steph's.

The pant slipped between my not-so-big ass check and it aligned my front so much that I wouldn't want to wear them outside. The bra held my breasts firmly and good, the best.

"Stephanie," I called while staring at myself in a full-length mirror. "I don't think this is proper, if my Mom sees this she will freak out."

"And she ain't never seeing it, Elsa. You're a hot girl, why the hell would you hide all this behind those baggy jeans trousers, and grandpa shirt? Live, for once."

My cheeks reddened in embarrassment after hearing her words. Could that be how Zayn sees me as well?

"You look drop-dead gorgeous." She said and started dragging me out of the room.

It won't hurt, just one night. Everything will be okay. I mumbled to myself.

We walked out of the back door towards the pool area and I somehow felt better about my bikini. It was better covered than some.

"Enjoy yourself while I take care of my boyfriend." She said to me as soon as she saw Ray and I nodded my head. As she walk away my eyes kept searching everywhere. I tried to convince myself that I wasn't looking for him but that was a lie.

My heart skipped as soon as I saw him and his two friends sitting at the edge of the pool, a girl rocking on him.

"Isn't that Elsa? I never knew you look like this," Mace, the first guy with sandy hair said to my hearing.

I slowly raised my eyes to see Zayn staring at me. He cocked his head to the side and his upper lip lifted in a smirk.

He pushed the girl away from him and got up from the chair then started walking towards me.

I glanced around the pool and saw everyone watching to see what he was going to do. My heart thumped loudly against my chest and I could feel my legs moving back on their own.

Zayn wrapped his hand around my bare waist and pulled me closer to himself, our bodies mashed against each other and our faces close, I could feel his breath on my face, his cinnamon and woodsy scent assaulted my nose.

"You look hot this evening, Baby." He whispered while staring at my lips.

Wait. What?
