Love Tangle

Gabriella calmly opened her eyes as the rays of the sun poured into her eyes and she shut them momentarily. Slowly, she opened her eyes to adjust to the light.

She raised herself to a sitting position and tried standing up from the bed, suddenly her body gave out as her knees weakened, shivering and she slumped down onto the bed, 

She opened her eyes moments later and her memory started coming back to her.

Pulling the bedclothes around her as reality slapped her in the face mentally freaking out. Gabriella looked down, seeing her black lace bra and nothing else before yanking the sheet up to her neck checking if she still had panties on. 

Besides the bra, there was nothing else on her body at all, and looking around showed her the disarray of the bed where a second person had slept and wanted to cry when she noticed his clothes were in the mix of the floor, Her clothes strewn all over the floor haphazardly as though they were tossed around without care.

The last thing she could remember was her step-sister Gia who had helped her into the room last night after she felt dizzy from the wine she had, so she picked up her phone to call her sister but she was not picking up her calls, 

Gabriella felt sick to her stomach, her eyes blurring with tears as realization sunk in her chest tightened in fear and anxiety, making her gag. The inner terror that she has done something that she couldn't take back. 

She is married to her father's business partner's son and there is no way she can explain to her husband and her family that she had lost her first time to someone else.

Fredrick kicked the door open, as she tried to put on her underwear in a hurry to leave the room, he was accompanied by Gia. 

Gabriella!!! What have you done? He screamed, Gabriella froze, her eyes fixed on the tall masculine figure standing before her, her stomach tightened in fear, her palm sweating, she couldn't say anything!!!

His eyes scanned the room and fixed his eyes on tiny blood stains on the bed, he rubbed his hair with his hands, 

Gabriella's mouth was wide open and air expelled as guilt consumed her, she had no memory of last night.

Desperate to explain but not knowing how she couldn't think straight, no clear view of what happened.

I…“I woke up here” she stammered as she moved close to him stretching her hands to wipe the agony on his face!!

Don't touch me, he raised his hands unable to allow her to come near him, 

“Where is he, Gaby?” Where is who? Gabriella asked him, “Don't play dumb with me Gaby” he screamed. He unlocked his phone, put the video playing, and showed Gabriella, it displayed a very erotic nude Gaby and a man making love to her! he had an annoying smirk on his face showing he wasn't that angry

Gabriella was dumbfounded because she couldn't remember what happened last night and as she tried to remember, it was all darkness and no clear view of how it happened. 

You still don't remember? Well Consider this marriage is over, I can't stand being married to a whore like you! He stormed out of the hotel room

She picked up her dress on the floor and wore it halfway, hurried her steps, and ran after him immediately but was stopped by Gia, Her step-sister who had been standing there all along which shows she brought Fredrick to witness her shame for himself.

Where do you think you are going? Leave the young man alone Gaby, he has seen enough, Gia said and ran to meet up with Fredrick leaving Gabriella alone they all left her standing half-naked in the room.

Gabriella has always been a smart and careful lady who has always carried herself with grace and she loved and respected her father who never showed her love in return.

Rather they despised her, Her father, Mr.Albani only played his father's duty whenever it was convenient for him. 

He blamed her for losing his lovely wife while bringing her into the world, and he never stopped reminding her that she was a cursed brat.

She got dressed and left the room in a hurry, immediately Andrea walked into the room but couldn't find the lady he was with last night, he left her to go settle some work issues but came back to an empty room,

He looked around to be sure she was gone but the spotted blood stain on the bed caught his attention, he stared at it for a while and turned to leave, his attention was drawn to a sparking silver bracelet with heart shape design in the middle with a capital letter G and A engulfed on it, close to the bedside, he picked it up, “this must belong to the lady but where could she be" 

He stormed out of the room, with four-bodied men waiting at the door, all in black tuxedos, fully armed, He walked past them in haste as if he wanted to catch up with someone they followed him immediately, 

 He instructed one to get the car ready, He issued instructions which were carried out immediately without hesitation, he hurried to the lobby of the Luxurious Hotel, he looked around and found no one that looked like the girl from last night, he ran outside to see if he can catch up with her with his security Men running after him,

But couldn't find her anywhere, He stood a while before going back to the Hotel.

Gabriella was confused and wasn't sure of where to go, her life was turning upside down right before her eyes, and she sobbed as she walked out of the Hotel into the street.

The family had just hosted another event last night and every member of her family and her in-laws were in attendance, it was the perfect time to expose Fredrick and Gia's secret affair and also get out of her unhappy marriage with Fredrick,

He had never acknowledged or treated her as his wife since they got married, he treated her as rage, and worthless, which made it difficult for him to make love to her since they got married, 

She has been living in Frederick's house like a slave, he values his servants more than his wife, and never talks to her or asks after her.

Gabriella was hoping her marriage to Fredrick would give her the freedom she never got from her family, but it got worse and she had no other choice than to live like that until luck shone upon her,

But to her greatest surprise, she found her sister in bed with her husband, which made her vow to expose them and maybe end her marriage with Fredrick and have her freedom from the wicked man she was forced to marry. 

After so much thought Gabriella summoned courage and took a taxi home, and as she arrived at

Barbero Villa, she went into the house not knowing what to expect.
