Chapter 7: The wedding

"I know you are not sleeping, can you please forgive Dad? Dad is hurting when you are sad..."

Mandy stood up and hugged him, she missed her dad, and she cried on his shoulder, he tapped her to stop her from crying too much. 

"Asked Dad for anything and he will make it come true but please don't ask to cancel the marriage?" 

"I won't ask for that but please don't give my room away, I still want to keep his memories since I can't be close to him, let me keep these memories and you know I can't take this to his house." Edward went silent for a while. 

"Dad please, I never asked for anything, just this once, I beg you." 

"It's done." Mandy hugged him, stood, and started packing her stuff, he looked at the room. 

"How come you don't have a wedding gown?" Edward asked her, that is when it was done on her, she didn't make any arrangements for a wedding gown, Mandy frowned. 

"Don't worry, I will fix it," Edward said, Mandy just sighed, Edward tried to fix it but he just couldn't, it was late. 

"Dad, were you able to?" He shakes his head, and Sharon bursts into laughter. 

"Sharon!" 

"Dad please, let me laugh, I wonder, the kind of marriage your princess wants to go to, which bride forgets to fix her wedding gown, that is the first thing they do, it's a sad wedding with no wedding gown."

"Shit!" if Mercy was there, she would had remind her that she haven't fixed her gown but she too is out of town, so she is left with no one. 

"What a bad wedding?" Sharon added. "If I were you, I would just wear any of my wears." Sharon titters more, this time Susan feels bad for the first time, she feels sorry for the girl like she was a bad mother, she is supposed to put things in order since this is Mandy's first time getting married.

Lisa runs into the living room, where Daniel and Daniella including Lauren and Larry are, due to the wedding, Lauren is at the mansion. 

"What is it?" Daniella asked. "I just got a message that Mandy doesn't have a wedding gown..."

"What?" Daniella yelled looking at Lauren. 

"Yes, she said I will be her maid of honor and she doesn't have a wedding gown." 

"How could you be so..."

"Stop it, Dad, I wasn't expecting that asshole of a mother of hers..."

"Lauren, you are been disrespectful again, go look for a way to get her gown, now." Lauren sighed, he looked at Larry. "None of my kids are going with you." Daniel's voice is dry, Lauren just left, and it's late, which means it might not be possible for him to get it. 

"Hey, bride!" Edward called her, she had slept peacefully for the first time in two weeks, and there was no sign of a wedding gown but she was going to push through with the wedding, no matter what.

"Dad, why did you wake me?" 

"It's simple, I want the princess to eat with the family before she goes to her new home." 

"I will just bathe and join you," Mandy said, Edward left for the dining. "Thank goodness, I am starving." 

"Sharon, you can't eat, let's wait for your sister, I want us to eat together before she leaves." 

"What kind of marriage is that? Marriage without..." Her words hook, she can't believe that there is a wedding gown in front of her, it's beautiful, Lauren had paid a fortune to get her that, and the gown is super beautiful when Mandy walked into the living room, her mouth drops open, she can't believe that she got a wedding gown right in front of her. 

"Thank you, Dad!" She hugged Edward. 

"It's not from me." She looks at him. "Then it's from who?" 

"It doesn't matter, the important thing is that there is a beautiful gown in front of us." Mandy smiled at Edward's words. The beauty of the gown makes her eat like she had been starving, not just the gown, those women are there to make her queen after all, she is getting married to the richest man in Singapore heir. 

Fitting into the gown, it was perfect, like she was measured for the gown, coming out of the mansion, flips of expensive calls are in front of her, so many paparazzi to cover the occasion, everyone is snapping her, making Sharon jealous, this is the kind of life she wanted, it should be hers not this unfortunate sister of hers, the life was hers but she throws it away.

The entire floor is covered with fine carpet, the venue is mind-blowing, they are already at the venue, Sharon's mouth drops in frustration, walking towards the center of the hall, there is a place like a palace, built for the bride and the groom, with romantic high fence build with fresh flowers. The almighty Lauren Daniel with his brother Larry Daniel, stood in it. You will admit that Larry is the most handsome man in a building but not knowing the face of the man standing beside him, you couldn't just conclude that Larry is more handsome than him. 

His classic tuxedo takes his entire perfect body build, and this made Sharon reason if his body is this beautiful, how about his face? Why is it always on a mask right since his childhood, he has always appeared mask in public. 

The music stopped as soon as the bride and her father walked in, she was wearing a transparent veil, so she could see through it, and her wedding bouquet was fresh falling, as she walked closer to Lauren, he smiled like he just won a jackpot, he hardly smiled, the only people who know he smiled are his family, Leah is in the hall, she had imagined, it was her not this stupid Mandy walking to her husband, her prince charming, anyways, she had to endure, six months and all will be history then she will make hers more glamour than this. 

The place is full of beautiful flowers, it's the wedding of the year, and so many guests, celebrities, people that matter, even those elite from the business world. When the vows were taken Mandy noticed someone was ogling at her and her heart could feel that the person was Noor, as soon as she turned it was Noor, the man after her heart, he was heading out already in tears.

"Noor!" She called, Lauren's face darkened, and she wanted to go after him but Lauren held her hand, making their lips come in contact, it was her first kiss, right, dating a boy for four years but never getting kissed, which meant she had not been laid. Her blue eyes bulged out, Lauren had no idea that his fake wife's eyes were beautiful, and she wiped her lips in frustration, Lauren was watching her silly act not knowing he had just stolen her first kiss, and he lowered his lips to her ear.

"Stop thinking about him, it's irritating you know." Mandy sighed. 

"Sorry!" She said again amid Lauren's coarse voice. After the vows, the guests were chatting about the wedding and drinking expensive wine, Daniel had spent much to make this grand, and he couldn't afford to make mistakes. 

"Congratulations dear!" Daniel and Daniella said to the new couples, Lauren's face was without emotions, Mandy just nodded, and Edward and Susan also hugged the two. 

"We should be waiting for the big news, right?" Daniella added. 

"Not in this world," Lauren whispered, Larry heard it, and he just let it pass. Mandy is so tired that she is sleeping in the car already, Lauren and she are the only ones in the car, Lauren used the opportunity to take off her veil and watch her face closely, he kept moving his eyes from one side of her face to another like he is trying to study her face, after staring at her for long, his eyes rest on her lips, that are staring at him, in a second he caresses her lips, he wants to take it with his lips, he didn't get the taste of her lips the first time, his phone ping, reminding him of the rules. 

[Rule number 1: Don't talk to my man.]

[Number 2: Don't make his meal, the maid will do that.]

[Number 3: Don't touch him or his stuff, assume he doesn't exist.] 

[Number 4: Don't share his room; no kisses; no hugs; no playing with him; no date with him; no eye contact.] 

She had omitted number five since Larry didn't want that, Lauren sighed, he had breached one of the rules but she was going to forgive him because it was a mistake, he didn't mean it. The ping of the message woke her, and she hurried down, Lauren too got down, it wasn't Daniel's Mansion but another, and this belonged to him, the place was lovely, she stared everywhere as Lauren showed her around

From the exterior to the interior, the decorations are expensive, the interior is freaking good, and this place is like paradise, more beautiful than her father's mansion, she notices that the workers are all male. 

"Sir!" 

Lauren looked at her and lowered her head, he was surprised. The truth is Mandy is scared of the man she got married to, scared of everything about this queer man
