Akosua lay in bed feeling weak and dizzy. Her best friend had gotten married the previous day.

Maybe it's exhaustion from the wedding party. She said to herself. Maakua had gone over to her grandma's place since some of her cousin's had come over for a couple of weeks before school reopened.

She tried getting up as the dizziness got worse. She picked her phone and then called her driver to start the car and come help her down so she could go to the hospital. She dropped the call and walked a little further where sat on the floor tired.

She managed to change into something decent just as the driver entered. He picked her phone, handbag and keys and then carefully helped her down to the car.

"Mrs Boaateng, there's nothing to be worried about. It's just pregnancy symptoms." The doctor told her.

“You mean I am?" She asked in happiness.

“Yea, you're a month gone, congratulations madam." The doctor said.

“Thank you, doctor, " She added taking the report and walked out of the office.
