69 #Feeling like stranger

Brandon leaned into my touch and closed his eyes, taking a deep breath. "Thank you," he whispered back, his voice filled with gratitude. "Having you by my side makes all the difference." He said he was moving his face close to mine, his warm breath brushing against my cheek. I smiled and gently leaned my lips against his, but before I could do so, my hand reached out to interrupt us.

"What the fucck are you doing here?" A harsh voice interrupted, filled with anger and disbelief.

I sighed, annoyed, turning my face to Marine, who stood there with a scowl on her face. “Don’t curse in my house," I said, trying to maintain a calm tone.

Marine's scowl deepened as she crossed her arms, clearly not appeased by my response.

“And keep your voice low; don't make me kick you out of my house." I warned that my patience was thin.

Marine rolled her eyes and scoffed, clearly unimpressed by my threat. "You..." Marine shouted as she pointed a finger at me, her voice trembling with rage.
