Chapter 48: The Escape

Two Days Later.

It was two days later after the incident that I decided to put my plan of leaving the house in motion. I was alone in the maids' quarter after packing my bags. I tore off a sheet of paper and was about to pen down my message to Grandmother Willow.

I couldn't bring myself to leave without leaving a message for her. She was the only one who had cared for me since my parents’ death. And it was surprising seeing that she wasn't my real grandmother. She wasn't my mom's mother. Mom's mother had died from lung cancer when she was Nineteen.
