Chapter 3: Remember

Wallace smashed his fist into the table.

Bella’s eyes widened at him.

“You! If you hadn’t drugged me, I would have stopped you from seeing the Emperor and Empress. YOU-YOU WOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN ABLE TO LEAVE! NOT THE WAY YOU DID!”

Bella didn’t say anything.

“Do you know that when I heard you were seeking their counsel in the great hall, in front of all the ministries…”

Bella’s breath quickened.

“Do you know how my heart pounded. The aching sorrow that went flying through my heart. How my body was wallowing to get rid of the drug. The panic that rose in my breath. The aching agony of fear that gripped my heart.”

Bella stared at him with a blank stare. She wouldn’t understand why he would panic when he didn’t care about her. When he doesn’t even love her but seeks her for his pleasures. She turned away from him unable to look at him in the eyes.

“And then as I struggled to the door, I heard the guards talking about how the Empress and Empress have agreed to our divorce!”

Tears began to form in her eyes.

“DO YOU KNOW that in my vision I can see you bowing before them begging them to agree to your foolish plea.”

The tears dripped down her face. Bella remembered that day as clearly as any day, how they announced to the world their divorce. How the wind howl and the autumn leaves blew around her as she walked down the stairs of the great hall.

“Do you know how upset I was when I passed you but didn’t even see you as you walked out of the palace walls.” Wallace stared at her as his vision of her engulfed his visions. “It’s as if fate was trying to play a cruel trick on me, making me be so close to you but not allow me to see you!”

Bella wiped the tears from her face. She tugged tighter to the bed sheets.

Wallace’s tears dripped down his face. He let out an unsteady breath. “And when I got there to confront the Emperor and Empress. They told me that because of your disloyal to the kingdom, killing our unborn child, and unable to cure the disease... They have agreed to the divorce…”

Wallace paused as he had tears forming again in his darken eyes. “The words they speak next have left me speechless….”

She was waiting for him to finish his words.

“Their words… their excruciating words, have literally shot arrows to my bleeding heart.”

Bella’s tears were dripping uncontrollably. She knew that she had to do whatever she could to escape the cruel fate of being jealous and envy of him loving another woman. For she knows that she cannot watch him love another woman in front of her, for it was painful enough the way it was when he kept her locked up in her room.

“You could have waited for that day for me to explain everything.”

Bella didn’t say anything as she didn’t want to think about that horrible day. Waiting for the day when he marries Princess Kay as his Crown Princess. Where he will bow in front of the Emperor and Empress. Bowing before the ancestors. Making his marriage known to the heaven and earth that he have taken another woman as his bride. Doing exactly what they had done the year and a half before, he betrays her.

“I refused. I refused to watch you marry her. I refused to watch you betray me.”

Wallace looked at her. “How do you know that I betray you?”

“For the six months you kept me prisoner you were with her.”

Wallace’s fist tightened.

“Don’t think I didn’t know.”

He sternly said in a cold voice, “You knew nothing.”

Bella wrapped the bed sheet around her body and edged herself towards him. “You treated me like I was invisible. Hurting me in every possible way. Breaking your promises. Lying to me. You tore my heart apart.”

Wallace chuckled and said, “For your stupidity I will show you what you could have missed.”

“What?” asked Bella, looking at him with a confused look.

“I want to show you what we could have been doing those six months if it wasn’t because of what Princess Kay.” He strode towards her and pulled her body next to him and he kissed her roughly.

Bella’s tears dripped down her side as his tongue slipped inside of her mouth, ravaging her.

Wallace panted against her lips saying, “I want to make love to you for all those times we missed. For the time when I was buried six feet under, and you didn’t come see me.”

“Wallace…”

“Make you remember my touches as I make love to you.”

“Mmmph,” gasped Bella in between his tongue.

Wallace teared off his clothes as he laid her back into the bed and got on top of her.

“It-It’s not like what you think,” said Bella, trying to catch his breath.

Wallace smush his lips against her again. Licking and nibbling on her lips.

“Crown Prin-Wallace-” mumbled Bella.

“From this day forth no one is allow to ever come between us again.”

Bella let out a soft moan as he kissed her neck, leaving her stomach to heat.

“You’re never allowed to talk about leaving again,” said Wallace, as he travels back to her face and  kissed her cheeks and pecked her nose.

Bella nodded.

“Now, let’s make love.”

Bella nodded again. “Yes. Let’s make love.” She wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled herself to his lips.
