The next day, she chose to ignore him while doing her daily routine. She woke up with a headache but she chose to ignore it as well. Her puffy eyes refused to open when she tried to part her eyelashes. They did not open for some seconds.
Annoyed, she huffed. “I shouldn’t have cried this much.” She mumbled to herself while her eyes were still close.
She cried her heart out last night. She was herself unaware of what was happening to her. Just by his single statement that really did not mean hurt her, stabbed through her heart like a dagger.
She did not understand why it hurt her so much when she felt nothing for him. She could not comprehend it but the tears started flowing from her eyes whenever his voice rang inside her ears—in which he confessed that he loved someone.
