“I didn’t meet Nick, Julia’s brother?” she said.

“You met him, I introduced him as Nicholas, he got long hair,” Derek reminded.

“Yeah, that handsome guy. I remember him. He didn’t chat with us like others so I thought he’s a distant relative and he looked different from the photos,” she said. Monica doesn’t have siblings like Derek, she’s quite interested in his cousins and wants to know how they were so close. When they were in London, he didn’t share this many details with her.
