CHAPTER LXXII: JOB-SEEKING

Angela’s POV

I started looking for a new job here in the city.

I asked every restaurant, coffee shops, and every store that might accept me as their employee but they all said that I’m still too young and look like I know nothing.

It’s good that Lucifer didn’t come with me because I’m sure that he’ll just get bored by walking all day. He got upset to me last night because I didn’t allow him to sleep beside me. I’ve been walking for five hours and a half now and still haven’t eaten.

I was about to find a place where I can take a rest when I suddenly saw a souvenir shop near an intersection. It looks like an old one but it still has an attractive Victorian exterior with that wooden door with bell on its side. I walked towards it and I got excited just by hearing the bell rang as soon as I opened the door.
