Waking up, Anais looks around, unsure of the room that is holding her captive. She has never been here, yet it is beautiful. High ceilings, and beautiful artwork on the walls, sitting up she looks around, everything flooding back to her.
Lucifer tried to kill me. Did someone save me from him? Her thoughts are confusing her as she can’t remember anything after. The door opens, and Lucifer walks in. He doesn’t stop or stare at her. He walks straight towards her. Stopping at her feet, he hands her a coat.
“Leave, and don’t look back, ever.” He was within seconds of killing her, and there would be no way he could save her. She knows how close to death she was, and she still doesn’t take his warning.
“No, I don’t want to walk away, not until I see just what this can become. I don’t care that you nearly killed me. I don’t want to walk away like I did six years ago and constantly wonder what if.&rdquo
