Luna swallowed her own saliva, which was now Alessia. She remembers everything the goddess said and advised her. She is now named Alessia Keren Endymion.
She is now the renegade Princess, and her family is killing her for her influence on the low-class Luminarians. A noble and loyal princess. She is loyal to her people, not to the nobility. 'D*mn. All types of traitors fear Princess Alessia's potential to increase their power.' Luna whispered to herself. Luna already knows all of Alessia's memories. Luna needs to forget being Luna and live as Alessia. The owner of this body has finally rested, and she will initiate and conclude the actions that the entire Luminary wishes for the people. "I apologize, Luna Janus Jayson, but I have to forget you in order to live and have a chance to become a worthy person," she said to herself as she looked in the mirror. "I've had the chance to live again in someone else's person, so I have to fulfill whatever purpose and prophecy Goddess Nova asks of me," she added. Luna caressed the glass that was now Alessia. She will remove Luna's persona from this body and live as Alessia. Alessia and Luna have a lot in common, but this body still has a chance to be worthy. The goddess appointed Luna because she knew she belonged to this world and not to the previous world. "Sorry Luna, I have to leave you because I'm Alessia now." The young woman said to herself. She needed to demonstrate that she was capable, just as Alessia was. The young woman was experiencing sentimental feelings when someone knocked on the room in which she was staying. She swallowed and prepared herself for who would confront her. "Remember, you are Alessia, not Luna." Alessia is self-confident and elegant. Let go of your Luna persona, as you have a mission to accomplish. The girl repeated to herself. She sighed a few more times, then went back to bed and braced herself before speaking. "Come in!" She has authority over anyone who knocks. The door opened, and three people entered. One is a helper. One man has a blue and silver knight shield, while the other is surrounded by an aura that the girl would never imagine she would see. The man exudes the elegance of an authoritative and powerful person; she bears a slight resemblance to him, yet her face is devoid of emotion. "It's good you are awake, Alessia." The man spoke coldly to her. She just nodded. Alessia tried to recall who this person was in her memories. The man in front of her noticed her anxiety and surprise. The man laughed softly and raised an eyebrow at her. "It seems that you didn't remember your uncle? Is it just like how your father planted bad words on me?" He said it mockingly. Alessia softened as there was anger in his voice. Alessia now laughed out loud. She remembered who the person was in front of her. This is the person her father had always cautioned her not to trust, but it seems that what he is saying is a true reflection of his character. "Which father, Uncle? The father who stabbed her own inexperienced daughter in the back? The one he sent to war and died in his knight's hands?" She replied bitterly to her uncle. The man was moved by Alessia's words, as if he didn't believe what he was saying. "You probably saw my situation when you saved me, didn't you? I was supposed to die because my father—no, they all wanted me to die because of my raising influence on Endymion's citizens!" She revealed. Her face had no emotion. Alessia met the uncle's gaze directly. This is the youngest brother of Alessia's mother. The Endymion empire accused the youngest brother of Alessia's mother of being a traitor and rebel, citing her uncle's desire to assassinate the Emperor and seize its power, despite the Duke's genuine concern for the welfare of the Endymion people. The Duke was exiled to the far south in Endymion as per the Empress's request. The Duke has established a small kingdom here, and no one can enter it except for people who want to seek his help. "Well, your father can't really be trusted, especially your older brothers." The Duke spat. 'Priam is such a douche. I felt regret for the way I treated my sister in front of him. That power-hungry Emperor would not be satisfied until he held Luminary in his hand. He is obsessed with torturing his own people. He has no right to be Emperor! I'll help my niece with everything I have!' The Duke pondered. His family, like Alessia, had framed him. They removed him as the Archduke of Endymion. He then pleaded that he had done nothing wrong and was innocent, but no one believed him because while he was being tried, the Emperor's word was the law of Endymion. The Duke believed what the young woman said because he himself had experienced such mistreatment of the Emperor. Duke Andro Carrios is a serious and cold person. He didn't trust anyone because of what he had experienced with the noble people of Endymion, but he wasn't narrow-minded, especially with Alessia. "Thank you so much for saving me, Uncle." Alessia expressed her gratitude to Duke Carrios. Alessia and her uncle were close before, but when he was expelled from the capitol of Endymion, she lost contact with him. "You have nothing to be thankful for, Alessia. I'm your only uncle, so I will help you, especially now that we're both in the same situation," Duke Carrios said, sighing. He signalled the maid to leave and prepare food for Alessia. "What is your current plan? I won't be able to protect you here in the South forever." Duke Carrios stated. Alessia's jaw dropped and her fists clenched. Even if Luna is said to be inside Alessia's body, all of its feelings and emotions remain the same. She is now Alessia, and Luna is no longer in her body. She prefers her previous identity to be forgotten and will not return. When her uncle asked that question, Alessia considered the situation. She had no choice but to stay here for a while and heal. She also needed to be trained to protect herself. She still lacks skill in wielding a sword. All genders here in Luminary are equal; no one discriminates against their gender. Luna used to have martial arts skills, which she could use. Alessia needed to gain power. She needed to spread her influence to other countries. Start by learning about the Luminous and Luminary histories, which Alessia lacks. She looked at the uncle. Even though he is tough, he still has a soft heart for her, knowing very well that her request will not be rejected. "You were the one who taught me to fight with a sword, but no one taught me to use the luminous weapon that my whole family used to fear, Uncle." She told her uncle. The Duke nodded. "My plan is to train hard from the bottom up until I am not really the best at using the sword and Luminous. I am asking for your help, Uncle. You are the only one I can count on besides myself," she added. The two men looked at each other and nodded. It appears that they anticipated what Alessia would say after they saved her. "Alessia, this is Troil Testmi, the Head Knight of the Carrios Dukedom. I know you've met him." Duke Andro Carrios provided an explanation to his niece. Alessia's eyes widened. She knows it. Who doesn't recognize the legendary Knight of Endymion? He is the greatest when it comes to swords and wars. Even though he lacks luminous power, Troil can defeat it with his sword. "He is the legendary knight." The excitement was in Alessia's tone. The owner of this body held this in high regard. Alessia looked up to Troil. "He will teach you, but if the conversation is luminous, no one can teach you about it. My suggestion is to go to the Empire of Pollux; they understand the concept of luminous better there." Her uncle spoke seriously. The knight even bowed in respect to her. Pollux is the quiet and fearless kingdom; she is uncertain if she will be accepted there. Pollux is also the epitome of luminous. The Polluxians resented the Endymions for their greed for power. Alessia sighed; she had no choice because she was now a princess without a kingdom. Her own blood relatives removed the princess from her position. "I have no choice, Uncle. What is beneficial for me is what I will do. All I want is that when the right opportunity comes, I can get rid of all those with the power that killed me and bring the whole Luminary out of its sheltering future. Even if it's impossible, I'll do it no matter what." She firmly promised his uncle. Alessia saw her uncle's secret smile. She wanted to be an exemplary and upright princess. She knew he was proud of her, even though she didn't recognize the Duke's emotions. The Duke nodded. He approached her and tapped her on the shoulder. This is the Duke's sign of acceptance of his niece's goal. "That is exactly what I hoped for Luminary."“Wake up, everyone! We’re back!” Alessia’s firm voice echoed through the Chimeralys’ hideout as her eyes fluttered open. A faint light from glowing crystal orbs hanging from the cavern walls illuminated the room. She exhaled in relief, scanning the surroundings. The Chimeralys they had rescued were all here, many still in cages. However, those who had remained in the hideout were already rushing to open the locks and set the newcomers free. The sound of creaking iron filled the air, followed by cries of joy as families reunited. A soft smile touched Alessia’s lips as she spotted Lirra, the young girl she had saved, rushing into the arms of her parents. The family embraced tightly, tears streaming down their faces. Alessia’s heart warmed at the sight, a feeling of satisfaction blooming within her. “This,” she murmured under her breath, “is why we fight.” Beside her, Raizel leaned against the cavern wall, watching the joyful reunions with a faint, uncharacteristic smile
“Is this all you’ve got, Drestan?” Alessia’s voice dripped with venom as she thrust her hand forward, unleashing a spray of ignis luminous directly at the fat noble. The orange flames danced with a life of their own, licking at the Count’s gaudy clothes. He flailed, stumbling back and furiously patting at the singed fabric. “You dare!” Count Tahoos Drestan’s voice rose in a trembling fury, his face reddening further as he hurled a sphere of aqua minor Z luminous at her. With a flick of her wrist, Alessia conjured a shield of eurus Luminous, causing the watery attack to fizzle harmlessly. She laughed coldly. “You call that power? How pathetic. Perhaps you should stick to ordering others around. It’s the only thing you seem remotely good at.” The Count’s jaw tightened, his sharp teeth glinting as he bared them in frustration. “Capture her! Kill them all!” He roared at his men, his voice reverberating through the room. A dozen armed guards surged forward, weapons drawn and
“You’re wasting your time standing there,” the shopkeeper growled as he pointed to the back of the room with a big grin. “Let me show you something really cool. This stock is extremely difficult to find. Worth every penny.” Alessia looked quickly at Raizel and Kael’thar with her lips getting thinner. They were clearly tense with each other. The tips of Kael’thar’s fingers turned white as he clenched his hands even tighter. His breathing became rough and irregular. “Lead the way,” Raizel said. His voice was tense, but his eyes were cool. The shopkeeper smiled, but he didn’t know that a storm was gathering behind those calm exteriors. He stepped back and led them down a short hallway with rough, flickering lights. The smell of sweat, blood, and other bad things mixed into the air made it thicker with each step. Alessia stopped in the middle of a step when they walked into the next room. Her whole body tensed up, and she had trouble breathing. Seven female chimeralys were tied
“Don’t think twice,” Alessia said in a sharp but calm voice. She moved her cloak around to make sure the edges covered her whole body. Raizel grunted briefly as the typical trade wagon jerked close to Arcas’ gates. He had a firm grip on the reins. Behind him, Kael’thar sat stiffly with his jaw set. Anyone could see the slave band around his wrist against his skin. Kael’thar said, “I don’t like this plan,” but Raizel was the only one who could hear him. “You don‘t have to like it,” Raizel said in a sharp voice. “You just have to make it work.” Alessia sat quietly in the carriage, and no one could read her face. On the other side of her, Sirena fixed her scarf. To avoid drawing attention to herself, she hid half of her aqua-blue hair. The rough path made the hardwood floor below them shake a little, but Alessia’s eyes stayed in her bag, which was always reminding her of her job as it grew. “You’re too quiet,” Sirena said in a worried-sounding whisper. Alessia looked up. Her fa
"What do you have planned, Lady?" His voice was low and piercing, and his eyes bore into Alessia's. Alessia fixed her attention on him and didn't move. It felt as if their wills were fighting in an invisible battle. Raizel and Sirena waited nearby in silence, cautious but fascinated. Alessia replied forcefully, "I'll tell you. But first, let go of my friends." Kael'thar looked at her for a long time before gesturing to one of his comrades. "Let them go." The door to the wooden cage swung open, causing a noise. Raizel and Sirena stepped out, their bodies strained. The two looked at Alessia and wondered aloud what she was planning, but they obeyed her orders without saying anything. They soon found themselves seated at a handcrafted wooden table. The chimeralys skillfully carved the rough surface. Kael'thar's gaze never left Alessia when he sat across from her. "Talk," he said, his tone stern but full of curiosity. Alessia placed her palms together on the table, appearing frigid
"Why don't they believe us that we won't hurt them?" Alessia spoke up as she saw Kael'thar and his group pass by their cage. Their faces bore the weight of grief. "Maybe they think we'll burn them to ashes as soon as we get out," Raizel groaned, leaning against the far corner of the cage. Even though he was being snarky, he was clearly angry. Alessia ignored him, her attention fixed on the rabbit-eared child sitting outside their cage. The five-year-old girl was playing with a tiny wooden toy. Her silky, brown, fur-covered tail twitched as she giggled, clearly amused by Alessia's attempts to replicate her movements through the bars. "What is her name?" When Alessia requested in a hushed voice, a chimeralys stood guard nearby. The woman, whose face looked like a fox's, paused for a moment before responding. "Lirra." "Lirra," Alessia said, her voice gentle. "What a lovely name." As she delivered the toy to Alessia through the bars, the youngster smiled and her eyes brightened.
