LOGINLuna swallowed her own saliva, which was now Alessia. She remembers everything the goddess said and advised her. She is now named Alessia Keren Endymion.
She is now the renegade Princess, and her family is killing her for her influence on the low-class Luminarians. A noble and loyal princess. She is loyal to her people, not to the nobility. 'D*mn. All types of traitors fear Princess Alessia's potential to increase their power.' Luna whispered to herself. Luna already knows all of Alessia's memories. Luna needs to forget being Luna and live as Alessia. The owner of this body has finally rested, and she will initiate and conclude the actions that the entire Luminary wishes for the people. "I apologize, Luna Janus Jayson, but I have to forget you in order to live and have a chance to become a worthy person," she said to herself as she looked in the mirror. "I've had the chance to live again in someone else's person, so I have to fulfill whatever purpose and prophecy Goddess Nova asks of me," she added. Luna caressed the glass that was now Alessia. She will remove Luna's persona from this body and live as Alessia. Alessia and Luna have a lot in common, but this body still has a chance to be worthy. The goddess appointed Luna because she knew she belonged to this world and not to the previous world. "Sorry Luna, I have to leave you because I'm Alessia now." The young woman said to herself. She needed to demonstrate that she was capable, just as Alessia was. The young woman was experiencing sentimental feelings when someone knocked on the room in which she was staying. She swallowed and prepared herself for who would confront her. "Remember, you are Alessia, not Luna." Alessia is self-confident and elegant. Let go of your Luna persona, as you have a mission to accomplish. The girl repeated to herself. She sighed a few more times, then went back to bed and braced herself before speaking. "Come in!" She has authority over anyone who knocks. The door opened, and three people entered. One is a helper. One man has a blue and silver knight shield, while the other is surrounded by an aura that the girl would never imagine she would see. The man exudes the elegance of an authoritative and powerful person; she bears a slight resemblance to him, yet her face is devoid of emotion. "It's good you are awake, Alessia." The man spoke coldly to her. She just nodded. Alessia tried to recall who this person was in her memories. The man in front of her noticed her anxiety and surprise. The man laughed softly and raised an eyebrow at her. "It seems that you didn't remember your uncle? Is it just like how your father planted bad words on me?" He said it mockingly. Alessia softened as there was anger in his voice. Alessia now laughed out loud. She remembered who the person was in front of her. This is the person her father had always cautioned her not to trust, but it seems that what he is saying is a true reflection of his character. "Which father, Uncle? The father who stabbed her own inexperienced daughter in the back? The one he sent to war and died in his knight's hands?" She replied bitterly to her uncle. The man was moved by Alessia's words, as if he didn't believe what he was saying. "You probably saw my situation when you saved me, didn't you? I was supposed to die because my father—no, they all wanted me to die because of my raising influence on Endymion's citizens!" She revealed. Her face had no emotion. Alessia met the uncle's gaze directly. This is the youngest brother of Alessia's mother. The Endymion empire accused the youngest brother of Alessia's mother of being a traitor and rebel, citing her uncle's desire to assassinate the Emperor and seize its power, despite the Duke's genuine concern for the welfare of the Endymion people. The Duke was exiled to the far south in Endymion as per the Empress's request. The Duke has established a small kingdom here, and no one can enter it except for people who want to seek his help. "Well, your father can't really be trusted, especially your older brothers." The Duke spat. 'Priam is such a douche. I felt regret for the way I treated my sister in front of him. That power-hungry Emperor would not be satisfied until he held Luminary in his hand. He is obsessed with torturing his own people. He has no right to be Emperor! I'll help my niece with everything I have!' The Duke pondered. His family, like Alessia, had framed him. They removed him as the Archduke of Endymion. He then pleaded that he had done nothing wrong and was innocent, but no one believed him because while he was being tried, the Emperor's word was the law of Endymion. The Duke believed what the young woman said because he himself had experienced such mistreatment of the Emperor. Duke Andro Carrios is a serious and cold person. He didn't trust anyone because of what he had experienced with the noble people of Endymion, but he wasn't narrow-minded, especially with Alessia. "Thank you so much for saving me, Uncle." Alessia expressed her gratitude to Duke Carrios. Alessia and her uncle were close before, but when he was expelled from the capitol of Endymion, she lost contact with him. "You have nothing to be thankful for, Alessia. I'm your only uncle, so I will help you, especially now that we're both in the same situation," Duke Carrios said, sighing. He signalled the maid to leave and prepare food for Alessia. "What is your current plan? I won't be able to protect you here in the South forever." Duke Carrios stated. Alessia's jaw dropped and her fists clenched. Even if Luna is said to be inside Alessia's body, all of its feelings and emotions remain the same. She is now Alessia, and Luna is no longer in her body. She prefers her previous identity to be forgotten and will not return. When her uncle asked that question, Alessia considered the situation. She had no choice but to stay here for a while and heal. She also needed to be trained to protect herself. She still lacks skill in wielding a sword. All genders here in Luminary are equal; no one discriminates against their gender. Luna used to have martial arts skills, which she could use. Alessia needed to gain power. She needed to spread her influence to other countries. Start by learning about the Luminous and Luminary histories, which Alessia lacks. She looked at the uncle. Even though he is tough, he still has a soft heart for her, knowing very well that her request will not be rejected. "You were the one who taught me to fight with a sword, but no one taught me to use the luminous weapon that my whole family used to fear, Uncle." She told her uncle. The Duke nodded. "My plan is to train hard from the bottom up until I am not really the best at using the sword and Luminous. I am asking for your help, Uncle. You are the only one I can count on besides myself," she added. The two men looked at each other and nodded. It appears that they anticipated what Alessia would say after they saved her. "Alessia, this is Troil Testmi, the Head Knight of the Carrios Dukedom. I know you've met him." Duke Andro Carrios provided an explanation to his niece. Alessia's eyes widened. She knows it. Who doesn't recognize the legendary Knight of Endymion? He is the greatest when it comes to swords and wars. Even though he lacks luminous power, Troil can defeat it with his sword. "He is the legendary knight." The excitement was in Alessia's tone. The owner of this body held this in high regard. Alessia looked up to Troil. "He will teach you, but if the conversation is luminous, no one can teach you about it. My suggestion is to go to the Empire of Pollux; they understand the concept of luminous better there." Her uncle spoke seriously. The knight even bowed in respect to her. Pollux is the quiet and fearless kingdom; she is uncertain if she will be accepted there. Pollux is also the epitome of luminous. The Polluxians resented the Endymions for their greed for power. Alessia sighed; she had no choice because she was now a princess without a kingdom. Her own blood relatives removed the princess from her position. "I have no choice, Uncle. What is beneficial for me is what I will do. All I want is that when the right opportunity comes, I can get rid of all those with the power that killed me and bring the whole Luminary out of its sheltering future. Even if it's impossible, I'll do it no matter what." She firmly promised his uncle. Alessia saw her uncle's secret smile. She wanted to be an exemplary and upright princess. She knew he was proud of her, even though she didn't recognize the Duke's emotions. The Duke nodded. He approached her and tapped her on the shoulder. This is the Duke's sign of acceptance of his niece's goal. "That is exactly what I hoped for Luminary."“I’m not leaving until I see her.” Ravion’s voice echoed sharply from the hallway outside the Healers’ Wing. Even muffled through the ornate doors, his tone carried irritation, impatience and something else Alessia couldn’t name, because she was still unconscious, but everyone else heard it clearly.Kael’s head snapped up from his place beside Alessia’s bed, where he’d been silently watching her sleep for hours. His grip tightened around her hand.Ianthe lifted an eyebrow. “He’s persistent.”Ariadne exhaled. “He’s a prince. They’re all persistent.”Eryx muttered, “Some are just more annoying than others.”Seraphine hid behind Eryx’s shoulder. “Can we pretend the princess is allergic to visitors? Or that she’s contagious? With something horrible?”Ianthe smirked. “Tempting.”A firm knock rattled the door. Kael stood this time. A shadow fell across his eyes. “I’ll speak with him.”Ariadne nodded. “Do not let him provoke you.”“That depends on him,” Kael said, rolling his eyes. Seraphin
“Her pulse is steady. Keep the cores aligned.” Voices blurred around Alessia as Kael carried her through the inner corridors of the Conclave Citadel. The ceilings arched impossibly high, lit by soft silver lanterns. The walls hummed with ancient luminousness—alive, listening, watching—but Alessia heard none of it clearly. Her head rested against Kael’s shoulder. Her breathing was shallow. Her skin is cold. Every step jostled her wounded core.Ariadne walked at Kael’s side, hand glowing softly as she kept a stream of Lux pressed over Alessia’s chest to keep her stabilized.“Hurry,” Ariadne ordered, voice tight with controlled panic. “We need to get her to the Healers’ Wing before her cores slip again.”Ianthe strode ahead, silver cloak sweeping the ground as she cut through the crowd like a blade. “Out of the way! Move! The princess needs space!”Seraphine sobbed behind them. “I can’t believe she fainted.”Eryx rolled his eyes and was dragging Seraphine by the arm before she could flin
“Alessia!” Kael’s voice cut through the roar of the arena, sharper than any blade Ravion had swung at her. As soon as the barrier dropped, he vaulted over the viewing rail with effortless speed—ignoring guards, ignoring protocol, and ignoring every rule the Conclave had.He reached her side in seconds. Alessia’s vision swayed. The arena floor tilted. Her lungs felt like they were filled with fire. Her Dual Essence flickered erratically—too much Lux, too much shadow, both cores shaking violently from overuse. Her arms buckled. Kael caught her before she hit the ground.“Easy—easy,” he murmured, lowering her gently into his lap. “Breathe, Alessia.” She tried. Her breath stuttered, shallow and sharp. Her eyes were unfocused.“It hurts…” she uttered.“I know.” Kael tightened his grip. “Don’t close your eyes. Stay with me.”The arena still thundered with cheers, applause, and murmurs of disbelief—but none of it reached her clearly. It all felt muffled and distant, as if she were underwater
“One minute!” The Arena Master’s voice rang like a bell through the blinding rush of luminousness and shadow.Alessia and Ravion closed the distance between them. They were both determined. Every heartbeat felt like a countdown. Every step felt like destiny pulling them forward. Every breath burned.Ravion’s violet eyes gleamed—not with malice, but with excitement, hunger, and something else she couldn’t name.“Show me your full power, Princess Alessia,” he breathed.Alessia braced herself. “Gladly.”Ravion moved first. He dashed forward—a blur of shadow. His blade sliced down in a clean arc toward her shoulder. Alessia spun, Lux flaring in her palm; the force of his strike rippled through her arm. Alessia gritted her teeth.Ravion smirked. “Faster.” His twisted movements were elegant, effortless, and lethal.Alessia matched him; she won’t back down. Her Dual Essence shield glimmered like a silver comet as she blocked a second strike, ducked under a third, and redirected the fourth.
“Come now, Princess—show me more.” Ravion’s voice echoed through the arena, smooth and taunting, as he dragged his foot across the luminous floor. His blade glinted—a curved Noctis weapon forged from shadowsteel, shimmering like a trapped storm.Alessia didn’t flinch. Her Dual Essence flickered around her—soft silver waves, breath-like, alive. She inhaled, slow and steady. She didn’t want to be negligible this time. “Alright,” she whispered back. “I will.”The crowd roared. Solaris cheered. Lunaris murmured in awe. Noctis hissed, sensing danger. They knew even if Alessia is young, they saw how determined she is. Kael stood on the sidelines, unmoving, but his fingers dug into the barrier so tightly small cracks formed along his glove.Ianthe folded her arms. “Now this will be interesting.”Eryx leaned forward against the rail. “Come on, Alessia!” He cheered. Seraphine held a handkerchief to her mouth. Exaggerated as usual. “Don’t die! Don’t die, pretty please!” Then—everything expl
“Princess Alessia Keren Endymion—your presence is required in the Arena.” The voice boomed through the corridors of the Conclave Citadel like rolling thunder.Alessia jolted awake, breath catching, heart thundering violently. For a moment she forgot where she was—forgot the looming trials, forgot the endless sky beneath the floating Citadel—but then the realization hit her like cold water.Today is the Trial of Strength. Today she faces Ravion.Seraphine burst into the room so fast she tripped over her own feet.“Princess Alessia, wake up. It’s time! Oh’ stars!”Eryx stood behind her, looking pale but determined. “Don’t panic.”“I’m trying but panic is my default!” Seraphine wailed.Ianthe entered with a silver comb and a cloak draped over her arm. “Control yourselves, all of you. She must be calm.”Kael was already in the corner of the room. He was quiet. Watching over her since dawn. His mask was on, pristine and unreadable, but the tension in his shoulders told her enough—he had no
