Chapter Nineteen - Out of town

ROSITA LAUREN’S POV

I could feel my heart pounding against my chest, he looked at me as if he was affected by how I looked.

“Why do you think I have those?” Master raised his eyebrows while crossing his arms against his chest.

I flinched before playing with my fingers because I couldn't tell him that I found that out from Rupert.

“I-It’s nothing, pretend that I didn’t say anything,” I claimed before stepping away from the room, but he cornered me on the door.

He looked me in the eyes as if he was reading something, so I felt my knees wobbling just by being that close to him.

Master then stepped away from me, “You have to stop speaking to Rupert, he’s putting things in your mind and it’s not good for you,”

“Let’s go to the meeting together, you need to be present there because we have to plan out team building,” He informed me.

“This will determine if the teamwork inside of the company is top-notch, this would gather us, investors,” He added.
