Erl Reyhound brought me into a house, through the tunnel, and he dropped me from his back. I twirled to take a look at the house and it was beautiful and enormous. I stared at the paintings, hung on the wall, and one caught my eyes. Erl Reyhound stood near Dyth-orak. The legendary warrior that died, 300years ago.
It wowed me and I walked towards the painting, moved my hand on it, and its rough surface, to check if the painting was real, as I saw him stand beside him it. It was quite amazing. Obviously, he is absolutely one of the legendary werewolves for he to be painted years ago before the birth of Taseaus Eil, the one that is still alive till date, whom I thought was the oldest werewolf.
I was startled as I heard sharp clangs. I turned around and found no one; the room was in a grave silence and my heart started to pound as I saw that the room was left to me.
"Hey Reyhound!" I called. "Reyhound where are you at?" I called again, softly as I tiptoed to the nearest door.
"Hey" he called out from the door that was in the opposite direction, and I flinched as the 'hey' caught me in terror and my heart almost fell off my chest.
I held my chest and seeing that I was frightened, he came close to me and walked me to the chair that was close by.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to frighten you. I couldn't answer you where I was but I didn't expect you to be frightened by seeing me. Please don't." He assured, and I nodded.
"It's... It's all good." I said as I caught my breath.
Actually, I had fear in me because I had been thinking about all the things I experienced and it burdened me. I don't get frightened easily.
"Okay then..." He stared into my eyes, "what will you do to the person who is behind the murder of your parents?" He asked with a frowned-like face.
Immediately, the question triggered the darkness in me and my eyes glowed once more. The darkness mixed with anger, revenge and sorrow.
"I'll smile at the head of such a person. And after... I'll hang it up a tree." I replied.
"What if I tell you I am behind it?" Reyhound said what he shouldn't have said, I kept calm and scoffed.
"Please don't pull my legs right now, I am not in the mood." I paused as I saw him unsheathe the sword that was above my head and stood with a grin on his face. "Wh...what is this?"
"I want to make sure you die along with your parents, and make sure you meet them before they go beyond this world." he revealed as he lifted the sword.
I couldn't say what launched me, in a millisecond, I was up and behind Reyhound with blood dripping down from my nails. And my wolf hands turned slowly into a human hand.
"Ohhh" Reyhound grunt as his intestines closed up slowly and his belly formed back into the normal shape.
Turning back, I grabbed the sword which fell off his hand as I attacked him. I walked up to him, and bent. He sat, leaning to the chair behind him, drenched in blood. He caught his breath and looked at me with a smile on his face.
"Hey, stop! Wait..." He coughed and spread his fingers as he stretched his hand toward my chest. "No,I am not behind the death of your parents. I am just trying to know how fast you'll go, and I think I have that now. I just needed to know more..." He sighed and sat up. "I had to try that now that you're angry and sad, I need to tell you more about that power in you. No pup can do what you just did, you went too fast that I barely saw you stand up."
"Gosh!" I cupped my mouth as I stood up and curled my hair backwards, with tears rolling down my cheeks. I summoned up the courage to wipe off my tears with my hands as Reyhound stood up and hugged me, pet me and showed me the way to the room which I was to stay.
The room was beautiful as the bulb lit the house, bringing out the beauty in blue. The room was almost all blue, as the wall was painted blue and the bedsheet also was blue coloured with white designs, made for girls as the sheet was beautified with flowers and teddies besieged the bed, as they filled the bed. Even the lampbulb was covered in blue, and the towel that was there also was blue in colour. I turned around to look at Reyhound. "Do you have kids?" I asked, strictly.
"Couple of times, and they died. So I gave up having one." He answered softly, and landed with a tap in his laps.
"Wait. Aren't you a werewolf?" I asked, confused.
"I am"
"So... How come?"
"I married a human, all the time I married. And only two of my kids were werewolves, and they were the first."
"So, where are they now?"
"I couldn't protect them when the Dojras came for me…" He moved away from the door and sat on the edge of the bed, which I joined him to do. "so they were killed by the Tyrants. And since then, I had dug a lot of tunnels from one house to another. So I will keep myself safe. That is why I have been marrying humans, so the gene of werewolf might not be in them, and all of them didn't get my gene or trait. But I still watch them grow old and die." he wiped his face with his hands before a drop of tears would pop up.
"Why don't you get a werewolf lady and bear children?" I asked sincerely, confused.
"I... Oh I'm sorry, that part is as complicated as a werewolf." He said and patted me on my back.
"How?" I asked.
"As a werewolf, you can't just take a girl or lady to be your wife, or mate as we call it. It must be your mate, and you will make her your wife after that." He smiled at me softly and giggled afterwards.
"Okay" I nodded once and looked at him. "How do you know that someone is your mate?" I was being inquisitive and I enjoyed it.
"Okay girl, you will know that when you grow old enough to get one, and it might be in another 500 years."
"Wow..." I nodded positively, like I was about to get it right. "Wait, what- 500years?" I asked with terror filled tone.
"Like I said, 'might'." he wiggled his two fingers at me, and make a funny face as he smiled at me. "Are you curious about getting married?"
"No. Why would I? I am just amazed that I can live more than a hundred years." I was surprised and wowed.
"With your super abilities, you might live more that 1 thousand years." he said as he moved to the door.
"WOW!! How old are you?" I asked with a long face of confusion.
"More than 300." he said and slammed the door behind him.
"Oh, wow!'' The door opened again and Reyhound's head popped in.
"Wake up early for your training, pup." he smiled and slammed the door closed again.
"I'm Beck" I said to the air.
"How is Orlan doing?" Dr Hitler asked me, as I wanted to step out of his office. "He's gone already sir." I raised my head to him. "Just a week and he's gone. He is really a jerk. Who visits his love for just a week and leaves." I knew where the words with make a stop and quickly I dropped the files and bid him bye, with a hastened step. I closed the door behind me and sighed. I walked to the secretary and worked on a blood sample with her. We filed it and I walked into my office, met a rose, with a tag on it. I froze at the door, looked left and right, behind me, maybe someone would look suspicious of keeping something like that there. Knowing fully well that I have two apparent enemies in the hospital, I checked for them, before going in, into the office. I moved to it and Dr Hitler appeared behind me, he peeped from above me. "What's that?" He asked with a suspicious tone. "It's nothing sir. It is just a gift." I responded "Hm, it is..." He muffled. I walked in alone and shut
The door of the dungeon opened, Lilia looked up and saw Natacha who walked in with a tray of food. She placed beside Lilia who looked surprised, glanced at the food and back at her, "Why did you bring this? And didn't any soldier see you with it?' I asked all at once. Natacha scoffed, she opened a plate and the smell of cooked corn filled my nose. The food looked good too and the sight of it made my mouth water. I watched Natacha as she began to eat, she didn't say a word but ate continuously, her eyes searching my gaze as she ate. Soon, she finished the whole meal, drank a cup of water and smiled, "Now let's start" she announced.I looked at her with firm eyes, did she just bring in her food to make me yearn for it, this girl is unbelievable!Natacha saw the look on my face, she burst out into laughter, "Just look at your fave princess, you should have told me to bring some for you. This is my night portion and I decided to share it with you". She said, I nodded and fixed my gaze
King Arthur stared at Mena for a long time, his eyes couldn't believe who stood near him, he didn't know what to think. If this is the Mena he fell in love with or the witch that took her place. With shaky eyes, he stared deeply into her blue eyes, they looked calm, gentle and filled with love."Mena" he whispered with a rising emotion in his heart, "Is this really you?" He implored to be sure, this time, he does not want to make the same mistake he made eighteen years ago. Mena stared at him with a smile, her eyes welled up in tears, she couldn't believe that she would be able to stand near the man that she loves, the man who was taken away from her by her sister, her evil sister who has never wanted her happiness ever since they were kids. Mena knows how many sacrifices she has made just for Suna to be happy but she wanted more, even to the extent that she took her love and her child as hers. With affection in her eyes, she held King Arthur's hand and wrapped her fingers around him
The next morning, Lilia heard footsteps approaching her cell. She was awake all night and didn't sleep a wink, she studied each spell one page after the other and now, she knew all the content of the book. As the footsteps drew closer, Lilia quickly knew that more than two people were approaching, she stood up, raised her gown and tugged the book into her gown in a position where she wouldn't suspect a thing. Hastily, she sat on the floor and rested her head on the wall pretending she was fast asleep. The chains of the dungeon began to chatter, Lilia knew that they were entering, soon, she heard the door open and at once, she knew that it was Prince Philip, he was here to mock her.Prince Philip walked closer to her, he bent down and studied her face, a frown settled on him. With hardened eyes, he turned to the soilders next to him, his look ready to murder them, "I thought you said that she is badly injuries with brusis all over her skin, how come there isn't a sign of a wound on he
Lilia breathed deeply, her eyes slowly opened as the coldness of the dungeon overshadowed her. With pain all over her body, she coughed out loud and spat out blood at once, her body, weak and vulnerable. She thought she was going to die but finding herself back to the dungeon broke her completely down. Why can't fat just let her leave this cruel word and join her father in the after world, while she must continue to suffer, it's been years and she can't just take it all in anymore. She coughed again and spat out more blood, her face covered in dried blood that trickled down her forehead, nose and mouth. Soon, she heard footsteps approaching, the thought of the soldiers coming back for her made her skin crawl, her body was immediately filled with goosebumps. She tried to move her body but all to no avail, her whole strength was gone and whosoever that is coming should end it all for her, she is ready to move on and not suffer in anguish anymore. She heard the door of her dungeon unl
The loud cry of the soldiers was heard along with the villagers who stood apart and watched the princess dragged down the Stony path like a slave, chains tied around her hands and legs.Lilia breathed difficulty, her lungs were burning and the intense heat of the sun made matters worse for her. She screamed and begged, hot tears rolled down her eyes but the soldiers were merciless. Anytime she felt weak and fell to the ground, they beat her up with strong sticks in their hands or poured her with dirty water which they collected from some villagers' stalls. The whole town watched her brutally punished and treated inhumanely, bruises appeared on Lilia's skina ns more blood oozed out from her mouth, nose, legs and hands. The soldiers shouted at any passerby on their way. They dragged Lilia down into the market place and people who came to visit from neighbouring kingdoms watched the princess with pity in their hands, children who stood apart with their mothers cried out in tears, their
