Episode 41

A bright light radiated through the whole room, the slow sound of breathing echoed. Slowly, Lilia opened her eyes as she squeezed her eyebrows, a slight pain in her head. She heard the sound of chattering cups beside her, she turned to find Adolphus carefully pouring a strong tea into a small cup, his bareless back facing her.

"You are awake" he whispered without turning to her.

Confused as she didnt know what's happening, Lilia got up as she sat on the bed, her hand massaging the side of her head as she closed her eyes to ease her aching head.

Adolphus walked towards her with a tray in his hands. Lilia glared at his bareless chest, there was no sign of hair on his chest, his shoulders broad and satisfying to stare at.

"Will you keep on staring or take your tea to ease your aching head?" Adolphus asked as he stood in front of her, the tray placed on a table next to the bed.
