Amalthea's POV

My eyes slowly peered open and I wondered when I had fallen asleep last night or how I had reached the bed. After Nic had left I had sat down on the floor for a while, waiting for him to return as I knew he left to cool off and I guess I must have fallen asleep before he got back.

I turned on the bed but I saw no trace of him but my heart warmed that even though he was mad at me he still cared about my wellbeing and hadn't left me to sleep on the floor.

As I rose, my heart throbbed at the thought that Nic was still mad at me and I knew he had every right to be but I had to make him understand.

I freshened up before I made it out of the room and I knew exactly where to find Nic.

As I pulled open the gym door, Nic's grunts filled the air as he punched the punching bag and I swallowed before I walked over to him.

"What are you doing here?" He asked as he stopped punching the bag but he didn't turn back to face me.

"I want to speak to you," I informed him.
