Amalthea's POV

Nicholson snapped into action and rose from his chair. He approached me and while my wolf yelped in excitement, I wanted to cower away from him. He brushed past me and shut the door before he turned back to me.

"Where did you get such a ridiculous idea?" He barked out and I shrunk away from him.

"My wolf can feel it, she led me here." I explained in a tiny voice. Nic stared at me with an unreadable expression on his face and although everything within me urged me to look away I didn't.

"Did I hear you correctly?" Mikayla interrupted and I suddenly remembered we weren't the only ones in the room.

"Thea is simply mistaken." Nic said quickly.

"I am not." I shot back.

"You are." Nic's voice boomed with finality, his eyes blazing as he silently dared me to oppose him.

"Amalthea is merely confused but we will sort everything out. I don't want to hear a word of this outside this room, do I make myself clear?" Nic turned to Callum and Mikayla who stared at us with wide eyes. H

    Alpha Hunter's pov "Alpha..." Amalthea attempted rising from her bed but I waved her back down. "Don't move an inch, you need your rest." I told her as I walked to her side, my eyes trailed down her body as I assessed her and wondered how possible it was that her baby didn't die.
