Chapter 28

"Beta Harry!" Allytis growled, taking control. He made to charge at him but a hand suddenly held me back, and Allytis returned control to me immediately, as he whimpered, hurt, and in.. fear.

I felt his cries. I turned and it was dad.

"Dad, what the hell are you doing to her?! You're hurting her!!" I growled.

Beta Harry's smirk on his face grew. "Do you feel this, Aiden?" He asked, his fingers digging deeper into her skin.

"Dad.." I tried to call but he only shouted, "Do you?!" His voice thundered. Allytis whimpered, I stilled, confused.

"N..no" My voice came out low.

"Do you?" Beta Harry growled! Dad forced my head with his other hand, the other still pulling my hands behind me. He tilted my head up at the scene.

"Do you feel her, in pain?" He asked.

"N..no.." I mumbled.

"Do you?!" Beta Harry raised his voice, his nails digging deeper. At the corner of my eyes, I saw Arielle's eyes twitching as she watched her sister's lifeless body.

"No!" I growled. "Leave her alone!" Allytis voice thundered.

Beta Harris dropped her and I sped to her as she fell lifeless in my hand.

I shut my eyes, and Allytis let out a loud cry.

"How dare you do this!" My voice thundered as I stared at my mate's lifeless body.

Ryan bit his lips slowly while the others looked at him. So, it's him!

Allytis took control at once, my eyes glowing silver.

"I'll kill you!" He roared and at once plunged towards Ryan who supersped and grabbed Arielle, his hands wrapped around her neck, his nails coming out. Allytis stopped on his tracks.

"Ryan!" Mom called. "Ryan, what are you doing?" Beta Harris asked.

"Ryan!" My dad's voice thundered.

"Trust me.." He said, then looked at me.

"I'm going to hurt her, Allytis!" Ryan said.

"It's me.. just me. Now, get away from her" I said, stepping closer to them.

"Why? Why do you care?" Ryan taunted, his nails now grazing her neck.

"Ryan.." Arielle's voice came out in a whimper, her eyes now tearing up. My heart split, and I heard Allytis low growl.

And he took control at once. "Step away from the girl!" He growled.

"Why? Why should I do that?" Ryan raised his voice.

"True, I don't care" Allytis said and made to turn.

My eyes fell on Arielle whose face looked expressionless now. He must have said something to her.I snapped myself back into control, pushing Allytis back in.

"Aiden, he won't hurt her. Let's get Ariana!" Allytis growled at me.

I couldn't. "Arielle.." I called, my eyes softening.

"Get our mate! He won't hurt her!" Allytis growled again, but I couldn't. Arielle.. or Ariana? Ariana? Why would I ever choose her over Arielle.

"You won't hurt her Ryan, we both know that" I said. "Now, stop the act. Ariana's hurt and we need to help her! Do you all understand this?!" I raised my voice, turning to look at them all in the eyes.

"Mom.." I walked over to her. "That.. there.." I pointed at Ariana. "That's my mate, and.." Tears rolled down my cheeks.

"Are you going to watch while they do that to her? You told her you liked her!" My voice thundered.

I turned to Arielle. "You're willing to be a hostage, why? So I choose you over your twin sister, really Arielle? She's my mate, Arielle! I do care about you, but she's my mate! And I would never choose anyone over her!" I said, and turned and made my way to Ariana.

I grabbed her lifeless body in my arm, my fingers under her nose, and I could hear her faint breath.

"You leave me no choice!" Ryan suddenly said and dug his nails into Arielle's neck. Her eyes shot up and she screamed in pain. "Ryan!" Dad growled.

"Ryan.." Arielle called slowly, in tears. He barely looked at her, his nails still digging into her skin.

"Ryan!" I warned.

"You don't care about her, right?" He said, smiling.

"How about this? Right here, right now. I'll mark Arielle in front of you all." He said and mom gasped.

"Ryan.." Dad warned with a low growl.

"It's fine. The rule doesn't concern me, I'm not from this pack. I'll be fine. Right here, I'll choose Arielle as my chosen mate" He said and then looked down at Arielle who whimpered in his hold, shaking her head slowly.

"You'll be fine once I mark you" He said and then looked at me, and opened his mouth, his canines growing out of his teeth and, brought his teeth closer to Arielle's neck. He said something to her, and at once raised his mouth to bite down on her neck.

In one swift motion, Allytis took control and shifted into his wolf form, and threw Ryan against the stairs, the impact breaking the woods immediately. And he let out a loud growl. "Get away from my fucking mate!!" His growl thundered throughout the house.

My eyes widened. Mate?

*Arielle's POV*

"Do you trust me?" Ryan mind-linked me, his nails scraping against my neck. "N..no" I whimpered. "I'm scared, please" I whimpered.

"Fuck Arielle, I'm sorry" and in one swift motion, his nails dug into my skin. I cried out, feeling his nails in my skin. I writhe in pain, tears running down my cheeks.

"Ryan.." I called. "Please, hold on" He said, and I feel his voice breaking.

"It's fine.." I muttered. "I can hold it in" I said.

"Ryan!" Aiden warned.

"You don't care about her, right?" Ryan said, smiling.

"How about this? Right here, right now. I'll mark Arielle in front of you all." He said, Luna Marylin gasped.

Ryan.." I called, through our mind-link.

"I won't" He replied. "Am I digging in too hard?" He asked. "N..no" I stopped my voice from breaking.

He was, I was in pain, I could pass out soon. I was bleeding, I couldn't heal, I had no wolf.

And this made me more determined, would my wolf come out if I was in more pain?

"Do it!" I said, confidently to Ryan.

Would my mate come out if a werewolf that wasn't our mate tried to mark us?

"Ryan.." Alpha Caden warned with a low growl.

"It's fine. The rule doesn't concern me, I'm not from this pack. I'll be fine. Right here, I'll choose Arielle as my chosen mate" Ryan said and then looked down at me. I whimpered in his hold, shaking her head slowly, but I said through our mind-link "Yes, do it."

"You'll be fine once I mark you" He said and then looked at Aiden , I looked at Aiden, his eyes were twitching.

Would he stop Ryan?

Ryan opened his mouth, his canines growing out of his teeth and, brought his teeth closer to my neck. "Tilt your neck so it looks like my teeth are almost grazing your neck" He said and at once raised his mouth to bite down on my neck.

I did as he said and at once Aiden shifted to his wolf form and in one dash, threw Ryan flying through the room, his body hitting the wooden stair rails which broke apart immediately.

And Aiden grabbed me to him, then in one loud resonating growl "Stay away from my fucking mate!"
