The tests were endless. Once I woke up, doctors came and went, but no one could give us any answers. Everything was coming back normal. Once they were done with the tests, Brax told me that they had given me vampire blood, which I didn't really know how to feel about, but what shocked me the most was that it was spike blood apparently when we came back here, Spike had told Brax that he wanted to have his blood stored for me so that if my life were ever in danger, the blood would be there to save me. My heart broke even more when Brax told me that he was always looking out for me and doing whatever he thought was best for me. I didn't tell Brax that I had seen Spike. I tossed and turned all night, trying my hardest to get some sleep, but the rogue at the hospital kept running through my mind; I needed to know who he was. When we went home, Bax went off to do some work in his office, and I went into the library to try to clear my head. I sat down at the large wooden desk, surrounded by shelves filled with books, most of which I had already read.
