Aria pov.

I know I don't need to trust Andrew, but I need to save Mom at all costs. After putting most of my weapons in my backpack, I decide it's time to make a move since it's nighttime.

But just as I step out, I come into contact with Dad. Luckily for me, I come up with a lie and he allows me to go.

Feeling foolish for not looking back, I didn't realize that my father has been following me. Once I reach the location Andrew asked me to come to, I drop my backpack on the grass. I take out a knife and hold it tightly, prepared in case Andrew decides to attack me from behind.

"Andrew!" I yell, scanning my surroundings. "I came as I promised. Now, where is Mom?" Anger laces my voice. After waiting for a while, he walks out with a smile on his face. He holds Mother close to him, her hands chained, and a gag over her mouth.

"That's where you are wrong, sister. You aren't alone, am I not right, Father?"
