My head shot up, and I stared in complete shock, unable to believe what I had just heard. "What?"
"Can I kiss you?" Maverick repeated.
'What's going on? Why is Maverick asking to kiss me? Was the food poisoned?'
'You're being ridiculous. Couples kiss each other all the time.'
'We've never kissed before, and don't you dare bring up that night. It doesn't count.'
'Then consider this your first kiss. Just kiss him already.'
