Not as weak as a human, but not as strong as a wolf.

I watched the mark on my neck in the mirror. It was a bit grotesque and was swollen, but then it would become a nice unique tattoo. It was something magical and special that all the wolves shared, a sign of love and respect towards our mate.

I would have to wait a few days to see ours, but I would be patient. For the time being, it was enough to cover it with a gauze and take care of it as a wound. Being a magical tattoo, my powers could not heal it.

I showered carefully, feeling my inadequate body.
