As I prowled through the length of my cage, I looked at the rest of my pack. They were all engrossed in what they were doing, and it was quite evident that they weren't going to stop anytime soon. I would have to keep this up for some more time, and it was painful when I realized that it meant I would be away from Chloe.

I was in my natural environment right now, but I didn't wish to stay here a minute longer. I wished to leave. As they howled to the moon goddess, I willed my wolf to leave the cage and make its way out. No one turned to look at me as I prowled out of the cellar. Thankfully, Katherine was not really paying attention to me as she howled.

Outside, I shifted into my human form and grabbed my clothes from the cabinet attached to it. I was quick as I wore my clothes, pulling my hand through my hair with a sigh. I needed to get this done right now to avoid more mishaps. I turned to the door to make sure that I had not been noticed and ran through the dead of the night
