“Nathan!” I screamed once more.

He barely had his eyes open, and that bothered me more than I could put into words. I hated when things like this happened and there was no way to handle things. I didn’t like when things get out of control, and this right here, was out of control.

I went down on my knees and tried to touch Nathan, but to my amazement, he moved faster, holding me in without a moment’s hesitation. I smiled at the intensity of the whole thing, and it made my heart squish happily in my chest.

“It’s going to be fine,” I said softly.

Nathan held me closer, and I simply held him back. The moment seemed to stall, and all I felt was the intensity of it all. The pressure he exuded was out of this world, and I was glad he was fine.

The fact he was breathing was enough for me, and I held him closer as hard as he held me. It felt nice to have someone in this world I could hold like this. I remembered his confession before things went weird at the club. It made my blush d
