Kirsch's POV
I didn't let her skip patrol training because she didn't want special treatment. She seemed on edge, but I couldn't get her to trust me enough to not worry about Rachel.
I wasn't going to let Rachel hurt her.
I followed them from the start, and watched Willa set her trap to save Scarlett. Willa always pretended to be bad and mischief, but she never bullied anyone.
She must have had a life full of love to be able to care for others so much.
I didn't see Taran until he came out and greeted Willa, and I was shocked to my core. So she DID see him yesterday, and they became friends!
She was so happy to see him. Her face was glowing the moment she saw him. She never did that for anyone, the least of all me. All her attention was all on Taran from the second Taran appeared.
