The Past

Thirty years ago

Alpha Haman's POV.

The Redmond pack had been waging war against my pack for almost a year now yearning for freedom from me, but I refused to let go of them. They would have to merge with me, whether they like it or not. But I never thought they could take it as far as going to report me in the Alpha of Alphas meeting.

I was relaxing in the corridors of my room when a guard knocked on my door, and my eyes quickly darted to the door.

“Come in.” I said slightly above a whisper, and the door opened.

He's also a werewolf, there was no need for me to talk aloud, unlike how I do when I communicate with humans.

The door opened and the hard walked in with a letter in his hand and, with a bow, he stretched it to me.

“You have a letter, Alpha.”

I grabbed the letter from him, dumped it on the floor, and sipped my wine.

“You may take your leave now.”

“Okay, Alpha.” He said and retreated from the room.
